I know we’re all heartbroken over that finale, but I feel like a lot of us are kinda blinded by our emotions and not really seeing the whole picture.
Like… there was zero betrayal, every single one of our main characters is still alive, they’re all still on good terms, and the TVA is still standing and operating. Like… is that not way more hopeful than what we’re all letting on? Or is that just me?
Narratively speaking, the TVA’s main function right now is to track Kang variants, Loki has more personal history with both kang variants and the multiversal storyline than any other character right now, and he is literally holding the multiverse together with his hands. You really think they can tell a story about kang threatening the multiverse without them being in it?
Franchise-wise, Marvel has been struggling a bit the past couple years, and Loki is currently the biggest draw they have, plus Kevin Feige said he thinks Loki and Mobius will be Marvel’s most popular duo, and the Loki series has done better than just about any other Marvel show. You really think they’re gonna let go of the biggest money makers they have right at the beginning of the multiversal saga?
It seems extremely unlikely that we won’t see both Loki and the TVA again (probably in a big way), and you guys talking about saying goodbye to all these characters is just bumming me tf out and making me feel crazy 😂😭.
Am I the only one who thinks the fandom is collectively overreacting??
