Let's talk about my fave cartoon for a second... 😠
WB has some serious problems with their cartoons, especially things like Sylvester and Tweety, Roadrunner and Coyote, and Tom and Jerry. Actually, put aside Tom and Jerry. Today we are talking about Looney Tunes.
For me, I'm crazy about Sylvester the cat. Probably a bit, if not a LOT more than you would expect. In my eyes, this kitty is one, innocent, adorable, patient kitty. And I ain't exaggerating at all.
Sadly, he gets the worst of all Looney Tunes characters. Warner Brothers, we need to talk about this for a second.
Hold on. Did I just say he gets the worst, out of all Looney Tunes?! What about perhaps Coyote, or Daffy Duck, even Elmer Fudd?!
Now, take a look at this bird.
What does it look like?! This "cute, adorable, innocent little baby bird" swinging in the cage, singing.
Wair. He, my friend, is the worst of all Looney Tunes characters, seriously.
Well, yeah, sure, he's pretty bad as well. But really, I've been having a hard time making a desicion, but hsy, Speedy, the Worst Character Ever prize is not for you.
So, why are all these ideas of Tweety Pie being an innocent little cute baby bird... quite incorrect?!
Go to any Tweety pie episode and you'll see why, if you pay atrention.
Sylvester, or course, is portrayed(did I use that word right?!) as the antagonist of the story. Most people think of him as an evil, greedy, nasty little sly cat who needs to be constantly punsihed, which he is.
He's absolutely not like that.
He, in actual fact, is a very kind cat. You can see this in other Looney Tunes videos. Plenty of times.
And, even in just the Tweety Pie series itself.
The Tweety Pie series, over time, has developed an interesting story over time in fact. If you actually watch a lot of these videos, you'll start to see who Sylvester actually is. (Maybe.).
In one episode (I can't remember which, but I've seen it, or at least a clip because I couldn't find the video) Sylvester is shown to be dreaming that he ate Tweety(what a peculiar little dream.) As soon as he wakes up, guess what?! He is shown to be glad, full of relief that Tweety is still alive, after checking that he was.
I have a theory that in fact, Sylvester at first wanted to be friends with Tweety Pie. Sadly, nasty little Tweety decided to be mean instead.
Now, let me ask you a question. What would you do if someone was constantly trying to attack you?! You would defend yourself.
Hang on, wait. Your thinking now, hey, you are trying to defend Sylvester like this, but, he's trying to kill tweety?!
What if I told you something.
You know what many things tweet y has done to Sylvester?!
Let's say a few of those things, from least worst, to worst (actually I can't say the worst because... Yeah.)
Tweety has hit Sylvester with a bat, a hammer, hit his face with a hot frying pan then proceeded to trick him into scolding his hand on the top on the oven when it was hot, tried to suck him with a vacuum cleaner, threw (with incredibly strong arms for such a tiny bird) a wardrobe on top of him, yeeted him out of the window, got him hit by a car, tried to drown him often, burned him with literal fire on his fur... And there is much worse. Much, much worse.
And guess what was Tweety's main plan the whole time?!
Tweety wants to kill Sylvester, and I'm not even joking.
And guess what, Sylvester, poor kitty, thanks to that murderer, Sylvester has died, DIED, 26 times.
And he somehoW revived because, cats don't have none lives, they have 27.
So, Tweety is repeated ly killing Sylvester, and torturing him all the time. Who started it?!
I think I know who. I did have proof of this, but some time ago something happened to me, and I forgot... Anyways.
Sylvester wants to be friends.
What I do have proof of, is Tweety is deliberately trying to torture him. Like, a million times, Sylvester is literally doing nothing, not even TRYING to catch tweety, and tweet y comes up and does something nasty. This goes to show that Tweety is actually doing this on perpose, there is no excuse.
So, the whole reason why Sylvester wanted to "eat" tweety pie, was because of this problem. If he does nothing about it, he will repeatedly diqd and suffer, and who knows, he might hAve the danger of dying permanently.
You can never predict what WB is gonna do.
So, Sylvester is forced to protect himself by trying to stop Tweety, once and for all.
And no, why would tweety die permanently, if Sylvester didn't yet?! Sylvester probably knows that, if he says him once, he'll revive, and will probably (unless he's really insane) leave him alone because he doesn't want to get eaten again.
Sylvester is ckever, but tweet y is a monstor.
So tweet y is trying to kill an innocent cat who wants to be friends with uim, repeatedly. That's a literal psychopath I'm seeing here.
Sykvester , though, is such a great purrson. He's out up with all the suffering , didn't try to tell Granny about it, and wow, he's patient. Too patient, I'd say. s
And he's also hated way too much, for nothing.
Now, compare him to Coyote. The reason why I said Sylvester is the best character, is because one of the reasons is, more people are sympathizing with Coyote and feeling sorry for him. In a lot of votes, Coyote beat Sylvester. there are less people, much less people who feel sorry for Sylvester than coyote.
Now, as for Daffy Duck?! HE ACTUALLT DESERVES WHAT HE GETS.
Daffy is a nasty character as well. I'd say he's a narcississt. He only cares about himself, he's very greedy, and he's actually say too greedy. He's also very mean.
He's been mean to Sykvester, Coyote, Bugs ig(he doesn't care lol) and others. I mean, he's insulted both Sykvester and Coyote a lot, and it was really nasty of him. In one episode, Sylvester fell for a nasty trick. Daffy made a promise that now, they were going to be friends, and she to a bad situation they were in, share everything they have. Sylvester, who get had no conflict with him, agreed. And Daffy broke the promise. He even stole things from him. Sylvester found out he broke the promise and got a bit annoyed, because, come on.
So yeah. Sorry for my bad explaining and stuff, I write things quickly without checking, I'm typing on a tablet that autocorrect me, and I'm tired because it's quite late. But I hope you understand the long list LOL. I'll try to make a better version of this in the future.
