As lovely and relaxing as this looks, I’m afraid it’s a lie - my partner got to read outside in the garden yesterday while I stressed out in the office, and today I’m stressed on the sofa instead. This is the first summer in years I’ve had a garden so I’m desperate to spend time relaxing outside!

have been a bit inactive this week, but on the other hand i managed to be kind of productive! my mental health still sucks, but i finished some research paper-edits and adjusted it to the journal guidelines. afterwards, i did final check-up of my research-report and done some language school work with two new students

My exam is in 2 days and I’m in cramming mood.
Also- my ex texted me out of blue tonight. I had a mini heart attack and couldn’t concentrate on studying. (just a note, he has a gf now) i wanna block him but i don’t wanna be toxic.
So I took a few breaths, turned off my notifications, took a walk, and repeated affirmations to myself. I think I’m better now.
This is actually, non-ironically, a great way of asking about benefits and company culture without asking about those things directly.
20.09.18 || I just finished up the first two weeks of online classes and oh my, are they stressful. I only taking three courses this term and I feel like I’m taking six! Does anyone else feel like online classes are more difficult than in-person classes?
This year I am a T.A. for the first time ever! This weekend will be used to brush up on my Greek grammar so that I can be the best for my students.
