Been reading more about my moon nak lately.

A lot of Vedic websites focus most of their attention on Ardra’s stormy nature, and that’s fair. However there’s a handful of traits I’ve seen associated with Ardra that I think are, idk, funny?

-inconsistency on intelligence. Some sources say they are good researchers and very cerebral, while some say they are more suited to physical labor than mental labor

I feel like men are actually very turned off by the energy of Moon and Nodal women. Idk, but yall are always on tumblr and twitter obsessing over men finding these nakshatras “attractive” and “seductresses” but in my observations most men kinda hate dealing with these polarities in women. They can be kinda 50/50 with Saturn and Venus women, depends on how she plays it out. with all due respect, this “pick-me” girl stuff is a really unproductive conversation. it’s a topic that comes up every now and then on astroblr and i find it really detrimental.

idk about you guys, but i’ve met girls with prominent nodal, moon, mars, mercury, sun, jupiter, and saturn who had “pick me” energy. wanna know what i think? there’s no substantial link between the two.

if i go into the technicalities of it, they can ALL have "pick-me" energy, but they exhibit it in their own specific ways. i won't dive into it though because it's a pointless discussion.

"pick-me" behavior is a direct consequence of the patriarchy and these discussions of "who is the most pick-me" and "who is the most desirable" only divide and break women even further, making them question and feel uncomfortable with their womanhood.

i personally believe that if you are a woman, you are inherently desirable. that's just the beauty of being a woman. that's also why it's imperative to be able to defend yourself as a woman.

whether you're a "plain-jane", a "sexy beauty queen," or any other womanly archetype makes no difference. your astrology placements don’t freaking dictate your "desirability." you're fine just the way you are. someone out there will love you and desire you, unless your personal karma says otherwise. romantic attention does not define you.
