Hello! I saw you post asking for admin help. I'm willing to do so if you're still looking for it. I just read of your recent posts and it seems like you're going to turn this blog into an announcement blog instead. I run the rotg-directory and do spend a lot of time tracking tags. Let me know if you're still looking for help. =3

I appreciate the outreach, but as I said in my previous post about this, I would much rather stick with being a source of shipping information, including Shipping Week and Event announcements when they are brought to my attention, but there are plenty of RotG art blogs out there that already serve the purpose of reblogging available art. And as I've said, the few active ships out there end up drowning out the lesser known or less active ships out there, and I don't like to see that happen on this blog where all ships are equal.Again, thank you for the outreach, but I believe this blog now serves a better purpose in announcing shipping events within the RotG fandom :)

I may be able to help out. Granted I have a bunch of other blogs to run I wouldn't mind trying to help out a little here too.

I’m pretty much resigned to turning the blog more into a resource rather than just another blog reblogging every ship in creation. I liked it when we had a lot of active ships, but now that there’s really only a couple active ships, it feels like these ships are smothering the lesser known or less popular ships, and I don’t want that to happen.  The point of this blog originally was to bring all ships into the light, and I feel like it’s defeating the purpose at this point.

I want to continue to keep this blog as a resource for shippers to find blogs based on their favorite ships and to announce Shipping Weeks and Events when I hear about them.  But the main reason I was reaching out for help originally was to help with the reblogging load, but after thinking it over, this is the conclusion I’ve come to.  Again, I don’t want to overshadow smaller ships just because there’s only a couple still really active.

But thank you so much for reaching out to help out, I really appreciate it :)

Standby Mode: Activated

Hey shippers,

I didn't get any response from my call for Admin help, so realistically this is what I have to do. I just don't have the time anymore to keep up with all the ship tags and reblog everything anymore.  So this blog is probably gonna look a little bare from now on.

But here's the deal!

I'm still here, I'm still active on Tumblr, and I'm not giving up on this blog.  When new ships are created, I still want you guys to let me know about them so I can keep the Ship Index updated!  I'm still willing to do announcements for Ship Weeks if you let me know when they are.  And I'm still willing to list blogs that are dedicated to ships.

So if you need me or can help contribute to any of those things, shoot me an ask, and I'll be sure to keep this blog updated with that information.  But art reblogs and such will probably not be happening anymore.

Thanks for everyone who's stuck with this blog and will continue to do so!  Keep believing! <3

Looking for Admin Help

Hey everyone,

You've probably noticed that posting has been slow recently, and that's because I've really been trying to commit my time to finding a job for after graduation next month.

I have ZERO plans of shutting this blog down, which is why I'm reaching out for help.

What I'm looking or is one or two people to help with loading the queue with posts.  That's basically it.  The only requirements is that you MUST BE UNBIASED.  I don't care if there are ships you dislike, you must be willing to fill the queue with any and all ships that you see.  This requires keeping up with the tumblr tags of various ships.  I am currently tracking 17 shipping tags, but I don't really have the time that I used to have in order to look through them all.

So, if you're interested, you need to send me a message with the following:

What is your current level of activity in the RotG fandom? (are you still posting stuff? do you run a RotG blog?)

How much time are you willing to commit? (minimum of one queue fill a week)

Do you have experience as a blog admin? (not just your own personal blog)

Is there anything extra you want to bring to this blog? (not required, but hey, overachievers rock xD)

I'll choose a new helper or two in a couple weeks, maybe earlier.

My bakery/coffeeshop AU.

Jack took a year out before going to college and it looks like that’s going to continue indefinitely. He works as a barista at the North Pole, NYC’s finest coffee shop, but that’s just to pay the bills. His real passion is his Etsy store, where he sells his knitwear.

Pitch owns a cupcake, beer and wine bar in Greenwich Village. He also makes the baked goods for the North Pole. When he sees Jack’s orgasmic whimpering over one of his brownies, how could he say no to a date?
