Do u remember how when Infinity War trailers were dropping we were all talking about how Steve had the beard because he was depressed by the divorce…. then it was confirmed by Chris Evans at Comiccon….. then everyone basically took it as common knowledge that Steve just Forgot How To Shower bc Tony wasn’t there to make an effort for so there was 0 reason to be Thotty & Attractive……… and now in Endgame when Tony is BACK suddenly Steve is all clean shaven and short hair…. he’s using soap again,, dressing properly with titty revealing items, TONY STARK’S IMPACT YALL!!! I was thinking again last night about all the new Stony fans we’ll have stumbling around here soon.  They’re going to get to read Relativistic Heat Conduction and Sins of Omission for the first time. I’m a bit jealous of that. Twice-Told Tale. Tales of the Bots.  They’ll figure out who Wordsplat, FestiveFerret, itsallavengers, the Kinky Pet, blue_jack and copperbadge and all these other incredible authors are.  They’re going to get to read Nostalgia for the first time.  *sigh* Maybe migrate over to tumblr, wondering if anyone else is maybe into this ship, like I did.  Hours and hours of amazing fics to read and people to meet, endless scrolling, fanvideos, finding all the beautiful art, all in front of them.  How cool is that?  I don’t know, it just fills me with happiness to think about.

Also when they discover the multiverse! MCU started me here but I remember discovering all the stevetonys! That Steve and Tony are always in each other’s lives! 

That no matter how messy 616 is, tony and steve always rotates on each other. There’s grumpy steve and darling tony in Ults. EMH with thot and smol stevetony. Danny boy in 1872. They missed AvAC but there’s a lot of fanworks to enjoy. THAT EARTH 3490 IS CANON! And also practically married in Avengers Assemble.

Right???  Like, I knew there were comics, but when I first came to Stony, I had no idea that Steve and Tony were Like That in the comics.  Boy, are they in for some fun awakenings!

Oh, and on the flip side, maybe a bunch of us MCU folks finally get around to reading the comics?  It could happen, lol.

Honestly speaking, I actually started reading the comics after reading one too many Stony fics over the years. I’m still making my way through Hickman Avengers, but it’s made me love Stony more than ever. So to everyone who is new to the fandom, welcome. And to everyone who has been here for years, even when I was too shy to talk to anyone until I was confident enough to embrace it, thank you for all you’ve done over the years.
