Ello! I'm GothicGhost or Ezra (or Ghost) and I go by They/It/He OR whatever is best for the bit! (My pronouns change frequently, They is usually the safest bet) I primarily do fanfics and fanart, with occasional art about my OCs. I do work on my fics , I've just been a bit slow with writing recently. I do not currently do commissions, and do not plan on starting in the foreseeable future.

Basically I just liked the idea of making Legend deal with a child

"So old man, married ay?" Warriors elbowed Time as the nine sat outside in a field near the ranch.
"Yeah yeah, Malon and I have known each other for years. She's... perfect. She takes everything I tell her about the quests shockingly well!" Time smiled.
"Ha! That's all a hero really needs innit." Twilight laughed.
"Next yer gonna tell us yer thinkin' about kids!" Wind snickered, his pirate accent slipping through. Time smiled at him.
"No way!" Wild exclaimed.
"We've spoken about it, I'm not sure how I'd do at the whole parent thing considering I was raised by a tree." Some of the Chain once again gave Time an incredulous looks, as they do every time he mentions his tree parent.
"Trust me old man, if I can keep my little girl alive as long as I have, you'll do great." Legend grinned, patting Time on the shoulder.
"What?" Warriors asked and stared at Legend, as did the rest of the Chain, with various shocked expressions.
"What?" Legend echoed in a moment of panic. He hadn't intended to bring up Hazel with the Chain. Despite having grown to trust the Chain, he knew they'd make a fuss.
"You have a daughter? And you didn't tell us?" Hyrule hissed.
"No?" Legend tried weakly.
"What's she called?" Wind asked excitedly as Warriors butted in "I didn't take you as the type to sleep around Vet!"
"Hazel. We think she's a year and a half old." Legend admitted, slumping slightly in a defeated manner and choosing to ignore Warriors' comment.
"'We think?'" Time asked.
"She's adopted, I found her in a chest after clearing out a monster camp. Took her to Zel and we couldn't find her parents so Rav and I took her in. We'd had her for 6 months before this quest started."
"Awe, who would've guessed our Veteran was a big softie." Warriors cooed, getting a glare from Legend.
"I will bite you." Legend snapped causing Time to put his arms out to hold both Warriors and Legend back.
"You'll have to introduce us next time we're in your era." Time said in a calm tone.
"Now is probably also a good time to mention Ravio and I are married." Legend shrugged.
"What!" Wind shrieked, falling from his perch on a hay bale.

Link had spent the last six months retired, he and his husband, Ravio, had been working out how to raise their adopted daughter, Hazel. With, of course, the help of Impa, who deemed herself grandma the moment she found out.
Link would still help people with little quests and clearing any stray monsters, but there was never anything big. Until the monsters started getting stronger.
"I don't know Rav! They keep getting stronger and I don't know why!" He shouted, slamming the map to the floor.
"Link..." Ravio stepped towards his partner slowly.
"I'm sorry, it's just- I don't want to do this again, I don't want another quest, I've got you and Hazel now, and Zel and Impa. I can't do this a seventh time." Link looked to Ravio with a pained expression.
"I'll come with you."
"What?" Link looksd confused.
"If you have to do another quest, I'll come with you, Impa and Zelda would be thrilled to look after Hazel for a while. I won't let you suffer another quest alone." Ravio pulled Link into a tight hug which Link swiftly returned. The two startled at a loud knock at the door.
"Go watch Hazel, I got the door." Link nodded, herding Ravio up the stairs before following. Link swung to door open, ending up face-to-face with a knight.
"Can I help you?" He asked sharply as he looked the group up and down.
"Uh, we're looking for Link? We were told he lived here." The small one in a multicoloured tunic stepped forward.
"Yeah? And who's we?" Link glared, it wasn't common for people to come knocking at his door for him and not Ravio's shop.
"That's a conversation we'd like to have with Link himself." The knight smiled, a smile Link found somewhat off-putting. After quickly weighing up his opinions, he gestured to himself and spoke again.
"Converse away." He grimaced.
"Uh," The knight glanced back to the rest of the heavily armed group, "Well, I'm Link, Hero of Warriors and we're heroes of the past, or maybe future depending on where you are in the timeline."
"Hero of Warriors?" Legend echoed. "You wouldn't happen to be a Captain would you?"
The hero knight froze.
"I- I would." The knight glanced back to the rest of the group, near all of them failing to hide their panic or surprise.
"Oi! Freeloader!" Link called into the house, quick footsteps soon came down the stairs, Ravio appeared at the base of the stairs, a sleeping Hazel in his arms. "Leave that." Link pointed to Hazel before Ravio came in view of the doorway, refusing to give anything away about his daughter. Ravio nodded, placing her down in the cot in their living room before coming to the door. As soon as he looked out the door, a grin split across his face.
"Mr Captain Hero Sir!" Ravio exclaimed, bounding towards the knight.
"Ravio!" The knight startled, before grinning and accepting the tight hug Ravio went to give him.
"Wait, what are you doing here? And who are th- Tune?" Ravio stared at the other small visitor, but the one in a blue tunic.
"Hi Bunny man!" The boy smiled a smile Link immediately recognised as one with a potential for chaos.
"So, time travel quest?" Link asked as Tune and Ravio hugged.
"I'm afraid so." The one in heavy armour nodded.
"Great." Link groaned as Ravio exclaimed, "I know you." causing the heavily armoured one to falter.
"I currently go by Time, but you may know me as Mask." Time smiled, causing Ravio to splutter.
"Wha- You're so big! Link! He was nine last I checked! How'd it go with Malon?" Ravio spoke at speed, leaving a few looking bewildered, causing Link to have to stifle a laugh.
"I- How did you recognise him so fast! It took me a week!" Tune protested. Ravio grinned and shrugged in response.

When Link stumbled to the chest in the center of the camp, covered in both monster blood and his own, the last thing he expected to find in the monsters treasure was a child. A hylian infant.
He faltered when he opened the cold, metal chest that felt slippery beneath his bloodied fingers. The child's soft eyes stared up at him innocently and a little smile forming on her face despite the danger Link had found her in.
He sighed, scooping the girl up into his arms, the child giggles as he did so.
"Now what in Farore's name are you doing here?" He uttered as he rocked his arms.
He shifted the baby to hold in one arm, using his free hand to draw his sword just in case.
"Rav and Zel are gonna have so many questions." Link shook his head, his stress responded to with light giggles.
"Don't laugh! Zel might have my head for keeping you!" He cried, causing the girl to only giggle more.
"Who's child even are you? I've not had anyone come to me about a missing child... Nor have there been posters. What happened to you little one?" He sighed, the familiar orchard and cottage/shop coming into view over the hill.
He pushed the door open before calling into the house. "Rav! I'm home!"
"Bun!" The merchant's voice responded, followed by hurried footsteps thudding down the stairs. "Welcome hom- who's child is that? Link?"
"I- I don't know." He mumbled, staring back down at the round face in his arms.
"Did you steal someone's child? And you're covered in blood!" Ravio fussed.
"I didn't steal a child, I think. I found her in the chest at the center of the monster camp I cleared.
"Huh? Why on Hyrule was she there?"
"I don't know Rav, but I couldn't leave her there."
Ravio sighed, both concern and acceptance washing over his face.
"Give her to me and go get washed up, ok? I'll clean her up and see if there's a name on her clothing." Ravio held out his arms expectantly and Link carefully handed him the small bundle.
Link returned to the lounge to find Ravio sat on the couch rocking the girl in his arms.
"How was she?" He asked running his hand along Ravio's shoulders as he circled round from behind his partner to sit next to him.
"Good, she was really cooperative while I got her washed up, she didn't have a name written on any of her clothes." Ravio shifted to lean on Link's shoulder.
"I'll talk to Zel, Impa and the General but if we can't locate her parents then, well..." Link hesitated, looking at Ravio's blank face before continuing. "Maybe we could raise her ourselves." Ravio's eyes widened in realisation causing Link to panic and start backtracking.
"I- I mean we don't have to by any means, I just thought-" Ravio quickly cut Link off.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea, I was just surprised. You can go to the castle tomorrow, take her with, I'll go to the market and get some things just in case." Ravio pressed harder against Link.
"I couldn't have asked for a better partner, thanks Rav." Link smiled, relaxing into the couch.
"Anytime Bunny, anytime." Ravio muttered.

"Holy shit." Was all that Legend managed to say before Twilight shifted into Wolfie and bounded towards Legend's side.
"Wait. Can Wolfie see ghosts?" Wind wondered aloud.
"I'm going to say yes based on how he's staring at me." Wild shrugged.
"Twi...? Ledge...?" Wild tilted his head. Wolfie moved. Sudden and fast. Bounding towards Wild and leaped up to him.
And slammed into the wall.
"Pfft- Haha!" Wind cackled as Wolfie looked up, dazed and Wild appeared as though he was going to be ill. Time snorted when Wolfie paded over to him, looking defeated.
"You alright there Wild?" Legend asked, Wild hummed.
"I feel like my organs just got jumbled up."
"What just happened??" Four looked around, looking vaguely concerned.
"Twi jump- jumped up on Wi- Wild but Wild's a- a ghost s- so he fell! Wind gasped through the giggles still escaping him. Wild turned to Wind who'd now squeezed his eyes shut, attempting to stop his laughter. Sky was hovering by Wind, helping him stay upright as he caught his breath. Wild's expression shifted from looking slightly ill, to watching Wind with a bittersweet smile.
"I think that's enough chaos for now, we should let Wind get a bit more rest. Come on boys." Time begun to herd the Chain out of the room. Twilight, still as Wolfie, lingered for a moment, watching Wild.
"I'll join you all in a bit, go ahead." The Chain left the room, followed by Flora.
"Wind." Wind hummed in response, turning to look at Wild. "I'm so, so sorry."
"Wha- Wild. I don't know what you're apologising for, but it's ok." Wind smiled, reaching out towards Wild.
"No, it's not ok, I- You could have gotten hurt worse Wind... You all could have. I should've done better to begin with, so that you all never had to do this. Never had to fight my battle." Wild was crying. Wind didn't know ghosts could cry. With a lot of magical effort, Wind took Wild's hand, squeezing it before losing the ability to touch Wild again.
"Wild, I would do it 100 times over if it meant I could help you. Now, go catch up with the others, I'm sleepy." Wind's final comment got a laugh out of Wild.
"Ok, I'll see you later Wind. Thank you." Wild Smiled, leaving the room.

can you tell us everything about your art process??? what was the inspiration behind your card and your stickers??? are wild and wind your favorite??? what made you pick those three stickers??? i love the tooth gap wind has!!! what part of making your creations was the most satisfying???
So, I started responding to this then accidentally deleted it...
Hiiii! You've not already sent an ask so don't fret! It was an absolute joy to participate! I'll absolutely wanna join in again if you do host another! (It was you hosting right??? Imma be so real, I didn't actually know, I was just happy to be there XD)

So for the process, I do actually have screenshots for once but essentially I got to a few days before the event and went "oh god, I need to work on my card"
So I started with a really rough sketch
And then I dre the slightly more defined sketch digitally
And then just lined and coloured it from there (I don't have any screenshots one that lol)
For the card I just spent ages scrolling through photocards on Google and came across this one of a mirror selfie and had ideas... Then for the stickers, it was things I thought of when I thought of the Zelda franchise, so BotW was my first game, hence the Silent Princess. I just like the fairies tbh, and the apple was cuz of Legend's orchard, it's something I vividly remember from reading the Zelda manga.
Admittedly, Wind and Wild aren't actually my favourites... my favourite is Four, due to the manga, but BotW was the first Zelda game I ever played, and Wind is the one I find easiest to write. I also find great joy in drawing Wind.
I kinda covered why I picked the stickers I did before but they were just the things that come to mind when I think of Zelda. The Silent Princesses that always make me a little sad at the angst opportunities. The pretty fairies that have saved me more times than I care to count. And the silly slightly low poly apples that I've consumed at concerning rates so to not die :3
Most satisfying: How excited pretty much everyone got over the fact I'd given Wind a tooth gap. Especially since I almost didn't do it, I think of you look at the screenshot of the finished sketch, you can see it wasn't actually there originally. I only did it cuz I asked an irl friend and she went "yes. Do it." (She's read like 3 chapters of LU XD)
