“I needed to be somewhere different. Maybe I needed to be someone different, too.”
— Heather Davis; The Clearing
“It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.”
– Terry Pratchett

“A million skinny, burnt arms were pushing me. Voicelessly they commanded. Never. Let go. Of your gun.” – Gil Nativ
““I don’t believe in magic.” The young boy said. The old man smiled. “You will, when you see her.””
— Atticus
“There are two kinds of people in the world; those who believe in Magic, and those who are wrong.” – Darynda Jones
The poll, commissioned by the British Union of Jewish Students and conducted by JL Partners, surveyed 1,000 students from 170 UK higher education institutions, with data collected between January 26 and February 4, 2026, and reveals a disturbing pattern of antisemitism among UK students.
Some additional findings showed that, 26% of those sampled indicated that calling for the removal of “Zionists” from campus was not antisemitic and 16% did not believe that claiming that Jews control the media/government was antisemitic. Sixteen percent of students sampled believed that glorifying the October 7, 2023 Hamas massacre on southern Israel should fall under free speech protection.
As antisemitism continues to rise, everyone must speak out, stand together, and confront it wherever it appears.

“There always were two ways to live in a world that is often dark and full of tears. We can curse the darkness or we can light a light, and as the Chassidim say, a little light drives out much darkness. May we all help light up the world.” —Rabbi Jonathan Sacks z”l
Shavua Tov - blessings for a good week, a healthy week, a successful week!
