Here are two i made today as i thought deeply about the dynamic between Jerry and the club.... tsk tsk tsk He's a cowardly guy, I will say that - but the fact that he was the one out of all four to turn his life around and actually make something positive out of himself warms my heart up a little. While he wasn't actively involved in the abuse traded between the club members both pre-ep and ep (usually trying his best to de-escalate in some situations) I couldn't help but see him being complicit in most of it because he refused to speak up. Or like how he didn't immediately jump to Mandi's defense when Bill was dehumanizing her on the spot always rubbed me the wrong way. I like Jerry's character mostly because he's a very honest depiction of a lot of people I've met in fanbases, deflecting horrible behavior and overlooking serious situations in favor of being tolerated or kept around - inadvertently encouraging toxicity and letting terrible conduct spiral into things that could've easily been prevented. The lesson a lot of fans can learn in Jerry is that it takes effort and desire to change into being someone both genuinely likable and confident in their own skin. Unlike the other three, it seems to be implied between dialogue that Jerry was the only one who went to therapy, expressing his desire to be an active participant of society instead of locking himself away in a world made completely of his fanboy-ish vices. doodoo da doooooo dada doodoo da daaaaaaaaaa

What if the epilogue!eltingville club swapped roles?

Bill

Bill had one of those realizations that hit hard. Randomly one day he looked around him -actually looked- and realized his situation. Reality hit him like a wall of bricks. And honestly? That was for the better, he just needed to be snapped back to reality. He decided to actually take control of his life, he started working part time in a restaurant and continued studying. With time he got a girlfriend, Sarah, and got hired for unreal engine ad a game designer. He mostly worked on indie games, no major titles, but that's what made him feel good with himself and actually enjoy life.

Josh

Josh decided to change things when he got rejected by a girl met during one of the wirting classes he attended. She said he was 'too insecure' among other things, so he decided to change (of course after something like three months of total and utter despair). He continued attending the writing classes and writing fanfiction as an hobby, while he found a part time job at a local bar. After some time he got more and more famous for his writings and, thanks to a mix of talent and luck, eventually wrote some scripts for big movies. He started appearing in some podcasts and write more while actively working on himself as a person. His self esteem got better and so did his overall life.

Pete

DiNunzio continued to be obsessed with horror movies, but thanks to the club break-up and the conseguent disappearance of the negative influence they had on eachother,he got into less violent and more classic things. At some point he overcame his addiction for gore and snuff movies, even if he still was pretty active in the whole horror community. He studied design for a while, practicing horror fx make up and costume design. After less than a year he got to work as a make up artist for a pretty big horror production company, that also helped overcoming his toxic masculinity and helped expressing himself.

Jerry

Oh boy. Where do I start. After the club break up he became more and more nervous, and what was once self doubt and loathing became hate toward others. He kept living with his parents, staying all day in his room tweeting hate posts about every living being he could target. For obvious reasons he never got with Mandi and actually never interacted with a girl besides his mom, and that fueled his disdain and hate for the outer world. When he turned 25 his parents kicked him out and so he was forced to crash at a "friend's" house instead of staying in the streets. Eventually he got kicked out a second time -cause his disrespect and straight up disgusting behaviour towards his friend and most importantly his girlfriend- and ended up sleeping in the park for some time. At some point he actually got a job at a blockbuster, earning just enough money for food and paying an hostel to sleep in.
