This is my fourth time redrawing this piece! The last one was way back in 2021 and I've had a lot of highs and lows with art since then. I was nervous to tackle it again because I still really love the last one and was worried I wouldn't see much improvement, but I was super happy with how this turned out. I especially feel happy with the posing, colours, anatomy, and overall details of the piece. I'm also getting more comfortable with experimenting with brushes/different approaches to making my art which is a lot of fun.

This is an INCREDIBLY self-indulgent comic I drew for myself as a treat that I am being brave and sharing.

Comic centred around human battat and my self insert OC Grey, I love the human version of Battat from the comic "Limited-time Offer" by Borderlands (if you haven't read it I HIGHLY recommend it) and I like that he's bald, I like to think he lost it early from stress and is a little bit self conscious about it.

I don't normally post stuff like this because it's a little embarassing lol but I really like how this turned out so we will see if it stays upppp bahhaha

My friend drew us and our other friend as the Mike trio and we spent like an hour coming up with ideas for them lol

One thing we discussed is how they'd interact with the characters they were based off of.

Battat would have a real problem with them and would think they were trying to steal his thing (trio composed of a Pippins, shadowguy and zapper) he thinks they think they are better than him, and they are definitely on the Mike board. He would always be complaining about them, but Jongler and Pluey would not care and they'd both just be friends with them lol

They also totally know about the Mike trips secret, but Battat is the only one who still thinks his identity is a secret to them all hahaha

I haven't made a meet the artist in many years so I'm long overdue for an update!
