I always wonder what the story is when I see houses like this. Who lives in that house now? What does it look like with people in it? What kind of mortgage did they take out? Or are they so rich that they didn’t need a bank to borrow from? What do they do for work? Are they’re any kids here(it doesn’t look like it, which is probably how they could afford this). How far do they have to drive to buy their groceries? What kind of neighbors do they have and how often do you they talk to them? Does their nearby town have a library? Does the water come from a well and is it safe to drink? Does the water go to sewage or septic system? It looks pretty airtight and efficient, but does it use gas or oil for heat? Or geothermal?

To say 2020 has been a year full of disappointments is an understatement, but New Zealand is hoping to turn those sour lemons into sweet lemonade just in time for the beginning of 2021.
From cancelled weddings and postponed vacation plans to job furloughs and more, Tourism New Zealand wants people from around the globe to share their misfortunes of 2020 online. For every disappointment shared, consumers are invited to put a positive spin on their situation by donating a tree in the Forest of Hope.
This new forest of native trees will represent hope and regrowth for the new year ahead.
Tourism New Zealand has teamed up with Trees That Count, a New Zealand conservation charity, to launch the Forest of Hope initiative, which will plant the trees in Queenstown and Northland.
