I love that at the beginning, Layton was complaining about Nikita not posting enough on socials. Cut to a couple of months or so later to Nikita being fully in his Tiktok era, with Layton teasing him about it. 😂 Nikita's Strictly journey this series is such a delight.

I loved watching their relationship grow throughout the season and how it culminated in the show with Nikita at his peak emotional gorl. Also love how Layton is such a pretty crier while Nikita is just a red-faced crying mess. 😆

One of my top 5 faves among their dances! Layton's "Who knew the jive was sexy?" was exactly me when I first saw it. I've seen a couple dozen jives in DWTS and some of it involved hot people wearing sexy clothing, but somehow I never associated jive with the word "sexy." But from the opening moves of this dance, and when Nikita did that back bend fist pump move and they were twirling around each other, I was shook. Like how was this jive so sexy?! Why is their chemistry so hot?! My life was changed and I can never watch another TV jive again without remembering this dance.

Their last dance together on Strictly, from VT to judges' scores.

In their last It Takes Two interview, Nikita spoke of bringing a different emotion to their Argentine Tango this time, and goddamn did they deliver. They somehow managed to make an already brilliant dance become transcendent. And Nikita, my favorite emotional gorl, was pretty much crying the entire time after the dance (he may have started crying during the dance even?). This performance was the perfect way to end their magical run.
