Gaige Hect, Harrowheart of the Sixth Rend. Arcanist for the Vekyander Cohort. (They/Them)

Gaige's adept work in the field of both arcanism and esoterism has given them a treasure trove filled in abundance of font-touched relics and weaponry. Gaige seeks nothing more than to bury themselves in research and unlock the mysteries of why the Font is deteriorating and how it can be reopened once again.

It is through their effort and through that of many of the arcanist serving the Vekyander Cohort that the Dynasty has thrived for so long.

Vision: Hekate

She greeted me at the crossroads draped with the endless night as her cloak and the moon's glow as her crown.

In her left hand was the sickle, a silver and immaculate device wrought from impossible metals, that many whispered came from the stars, and it's hilt was bound in ebon-leather hide that drank in the paleness of her fingers. Upon the sickle were etched rune after rune marking the patterns of the moon above and the passing of the soul below. Incandescent light seeped off the weapon/tool's edge in a prismatic haze that shivered as it touched reality around it.

In her right hand was a wooden, fire lit torch that was a beacon among the gloom of the meadow and beckoned me forward with it's warmth like the old-world moths to a flame. The wood was ornate, decorated with star studs and what looked to be cracks repaired with honeyed filigree. It looked warn from the passage of time but the fire never seemed to burn down at the wood and remained primed on the iron sconce that topped it.

I wondered joyfully that this was what all beings saw at the moment of their death. The radiance of their God or Goddess, ready to guide them to their next venture. Ready to shepherd them onto the next life.

That I could look upon her willingly and when I needed her aid was not a privilege lost to me. I knew how important this moment was and how damn lucky I had been to be granted this opportunity.

But I also knew of all her servants, of all the millions in the courts and within Thanatodiocese, that I was most deserving. I was arrogance personified and faith made fanatical.

"My Goddess..." I said in reverence in the tongue of my people and bowed as I approached. My all too human heart beat loudly in my chest and I felt the font-touched organ behind it pulse and thrum in harmonious rhythm. It was delighted to be here, present before the child of the Sovereign Above the Firmament.

She smiled down upon me, a radiant blessed smile, and I felt my eyes go numb with the welling of tears. Three voices came as one but each sounded as if they spoke a sentence all their own. One wise, one somber, one ambivalent and dueled.

The three voices of my Goddess Hekate.

"You made it // I never doubted you would // We have so much to discuss, my harrower."
