Happy one year to healing yall!
Officially my top surgery scars are one year old. And I am super happy.
Somedays I still look in the mirror and is so surpised to see how flat it is and get all happy again
I haven't done a photo shoot in a while and I felt so awkward. But here was a birthday shoot
Went to a lolita picnic and took zero photos I am so good at this
Anyway here was the photo before I left the house.
Healing scars and life updates?
I'm 7 weeks healing and now all restriction are gone. And I went back to work on Thursday.
I learned we have to message the scars!! Which I keep forgetting to do but I do what I can.
I got cleared for work on Wednesday and they got me a shift for thrusday. Was a little nervous because I am not good at lying but didn't really want to out myself at work. But I was surpised at how many people in my company noticed my absence and was worried. I don't feel like I am a social person so I mentally prepared for only a handful of close coworkers to ask how I'm doing. It's heartwarming. Idk.
Anyway thank you all for the people who liked at commented on my 1 - 4 weeks top surgery post. I appreciate it.

Something about the whole "Eming is born of Hua Cheng's desire to live and Rouye is born of Xie Lian's desire to die," and then how Xie Lian wears funeral colours and Hua Cheng wears wedding colours. God oriented towards death and stillness and self-denial. Ghost oriented towards life and hope and happiness.
Oh oh oh. The way that makes my brain sparkle! Like, they are complimentary opposites. They each contain a tiny piece of the other. Like Yin and Yang (and there’s something there about how ghosts use….Yang energy? To stay alive? But Gods use the other? I forget which is which.) They are each complete alone, but together they form a greater and more powerful whole.

“She’s going to love you,” Shen Yuan says flippantly. “Who wouldn’t?”
A lot of people. Zhuzhi tugs at his earlobe, brushing his fingers over the shimmering serpent plug. It’s his favorite one. The light pattern of the metal scales is soothing to touch.
“I…” Zhuzhi hesitates, averting his dark eyes. The black sclera enhances the otherworldly look he’s worked so hard to achieve but he knows it’s not exactly a friendly appearance. “I don’t make the best first impressions. I might, I mean…what if I frighten your sister?”
All of the modifications he’s had done are to help him feel more comfortable in his body. He’s thankful to have reached a point where even on his worst days, the mere act of standing in front of a mirror and flicking his bifurcated tongue out will unequivocally fill his chest with warmth. He’s normally not concerned about what others think regarding his unconventional looks but he really wants Shen Yuan’s family to like him.
Shen Yuan makes a face. “I’m more worried about her scaring you off, to be honest.”
“Oh.” Zhuzhi blinks, tilting his head. “A-Yuan, that seems unlikely.”
“You only say that because you haven’t met her yet.” Shen Yuan rubs the back of his neck. “But kidding aside. I uh, talk about you a lot so she already knows what you look like.”
“You…talk about me?”
“Well, yeah. Of course.” Shen Yuan smiles, a sheepish tilt of his lips. “How could I not?”
Zhuzhi’s fidgeting hand goes still. He matches the smile with a shy one of his own. “I talk about A-Yuan too.”
