That’s when he took the chance. “My name is Harry!” he shouted, his lungs close on getting suspended despite the winds.

There was a beat of silence between the two, Louis’ lips parting in surprise. He returned to the sight in front of them and smiled even wider.

“That’s a beautiful name!”

And god, here comes the butterflies again.

All of a sudden, the stars above them seemed to shine more brightly than ever, and everything is just a blur. Harry brought up his camera again, capturing the beautiful blur of the night highway.

Now bring my boys in

Their skin in craters like the moon

The moon we love like a brother, while he glows through the room

Then Louis spoke again. “Do you know what Yugen meant?!”

He saved the image, turning to him. “I don’t! You told me not to search it up!”

They are on the bridge now, the seas glistening under the moonlight. The air is crisp, the smell of autumn filling Harry’s nostrils and his cold hands reaching for Louis’ ones. Louis turned to him, intertwining their fingers and laughing drunkenly.

“It means,” Louis came nearer, giggling and burying his face on the crook of Harry’s neck. “A profound, mysterious sense of the beauty of the universe...and the sad beauty of human suffering.”

Harry stared at the boy in his arms breathlessly, and he let the hum of Niall, Liam and Zayn's voices fill his ears as the night passed by.
