@galawezh
you can tell when someone learned themselves through solitude instead of performance
someone who is calming to your nervous system is such a blessing
A gentle May evening…
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"The one who bears in mind the fact that Allāh is watching his thoughts and his heart, Allāh will protect him from falling short in what he does both in secret and openly."
[Madarij as-Salikeen | 2/4192]
Sufyan bin 'Uyaynah رحمه اللّه said:
"Do not abandon du’a and do not let (the evil) that you know about yourself prevent you from du’a.
Indeed Allah answered Iblis whilst he is the evil of all creation."
[شعب الإيمان للبيهقي ٢/٣٨٥]
forgive and forget when it comes to the fellow believers, make secret istighfar and du’aa for those who hurt you and whom you love. Clean up your heart every now and then, for holding up malice will not benefit you one bit, instead it will increase you in mental stress.
Your heart is the most beautiful thing you possess, clean it from things that pollute it. At last this قلب سليم will come as a saviour on the day when no single soul will look towards you.
Choosing yourself is an act of deep self respect
