I think some of the loneliness of autism is that you feel like you hurt people just by Interacting Wrong, but you don’t know how to Interact Right, and the more effort you put into it, the more exhausted you are and the more artificial it comes across (with the end result of people still being upset with you). and it’s not anyone’s fault for not liking Being Interacted With Wrong, and it’s not your fault for doing it so wrong, but it is very, very lonely.

Akhal teke stud submitter here -- looking through the "Akhal-Teke Lines" page on the newer version of the ATAA website, I noticed that a lot of the horses on the page have neck problems (ewe necked, undermuscled, etc). Would that be a sign of genetic issues regarding neck muscling, or just that the owners of a lot of those horses weren't doing whatever exercises/conditioning that help develop the neck? Thank you!

This requires context and nuance. People in the notes have already responded with this information but I'll echo it again.

Israel has intentionally tied Jewish identity to their ethno state. IDF soldiers have carved the Star of David onto bodies of Palestinians. They've carved this into the ground after blowing up schools, hospitals, and neighborhoods. The Star of David has been intentionally tied to the ongoing genocide of Palestinians.

So many fellow anti-Zionist Jews feel the same way about the Star including myself. I get the same suspicion from others when they see my pfp (which I keep to intentionally to piss off Zionists when they visit my blog).

What's antisemitic about it all is that Zionism has conflated such evil acts to Judaism. We need to separate the two but we can't ignore the reality that while we anti-Zionist Jews are working to separate the two, Israel is working 100x harder to make sure all Jewish identity is tied to the state.

Zionism is antisemitism. Zionism feeds off of antisemitism and needs to create even more antisemitism so it can continue to exist. And that framework is how we ended up in this situation

Zionists cannot conceptualize actual Jews not being Zionists, so when confronted with our views they have to first deny our Jewish identity.

My eight great-grandparents were yiddish-speaking refugees of pre-war European antisemitism. I was raised in Zionist spaces.

I became Orthodox on my own and went to the yeshiva in Israel five years ago, with a religious Zionist (dati leumi) group, in a settlement in East Jerusalem. And it was precisely this trip that made me reject Zionism altogether.

I almost didn't speak to any Palestinians when I went, and the ones to whom I did didn't tell me anything about their situation. Israelis did. Talking about their own country's history and politics. Showing their views of Palestinians, how they take pride in denying them respect and dignity, and the actions they believe must be taken in order to ensure the "safety of the Jewish people".

I always find this tendency of Zionists to be extremely telling. Online and irl I encounter people who cannot understand the notion that their own shul and school systems are not absolutely effective and convincing youth. I went exclusively to Jewish schools, almost all orthodox except the last year and a half of high school. I grew up in a modern orthodox household, yeshivish and Hasidic relatives, I have family in the entity, I’ve been to the area twice for weeks long trips when I was younger, I went to an orthodox youth group, but to these people none of that can possibly be true because I… don’t agree with their political ideology and think the country they exalt is guilty of repeating and overlapping genocide campaigns, and because of my own personal experiences. They cannot fathom serious criticism and rejection from ‘their own ranks’ (so to speak). Genuine mob mentality. They straight up cannot comprehend Judaism that doesn’t center the modern state of Israel™️ as if the entire function of our religion and heritage is to be mindless drones. It’s weird, and it’s gross.
