Up until this point, there hadn’t been a single opponent that was able to handle more than one of Natsu’s attacks since he started roaming the land after his training so it came as a pleasant surprise that she had managed to stop one of his attacks at full strength. “Oho~ Good! I see you are strong!”
The barrier was gone and Natsu set his feet apart to continue with another attack when she seemed to relax and her following words made Natsu to stop on his tracks and blinked a few times as if he didn’t understand what was going on.
“Huh?” The girl had just surrendered so he had no more reason to continue and instead started scratching his head until his brain had processed the information and he then started celebrating.by shaking his arms up in victory. Obviously enough, the people who were still in the stadium started roaring in surprise, excitement and probably some in disbelief. Still, Natsu had a huge grin on his face.
“I guess I am stil the strongest one there is!” He was already feeling proud of himself once again when he asked aloud something that was probably unexpected by the people who actually joined the fight knowing what it was all about “So where’s my prize?”
◤☆ The lioness would nod a few times in approval of his joy of winning. Yes, one should be excited about winning a hard earned battle. It wasn’t as if it was for naught, and he was strong which was good. For if he were to be a marriage candidate she would need a strong person to be so which is what he was. She was certain though after this fight this marriage festival would be a good hit for everyone. Which meant more money for all after the income they everyone would receive after this.
Golden hues though would look at the other in slight question. Where was his prize? An odd...question...
❝ Prize? There really isn’t a ‘ prize ‘ per say. ❞ She’d state as slowly an eyebrow would raise. Though after a moment of thought it would soon click in her head, given how excited he was for fighting she wondered. Did he not at all pay attention to what this fight was for? Curious about her own question, she’d fold her arms as she walked up a little closer to him.
❝ You do know what this festival is for...right? ❞
If not then she suppose he would be in a moment of surprise if she told him. The more she thought of it though, the more that was most likely the answer this moment at hand. It almost made her laugh, almost, but not quite. ❝ This...is a competition to get my hand in marriage. Did you not at all listen to the information that was given about that from the beginning? ❞ She’d ask with a hint of amusement on her face as she explained what this battle was for.
