Soooo... the angel drawing was getting me nowhere. I need some more practice, big projects just end up being a big slow pain. So have a doodle.

Getting sick of erasing and redoing the mouth, it'll eventually come out right but damn if it isn't annoying.

Lines are about done. They're not final but I usually only work with lines as a general guide and gradually paint over them

To all the new followers after my submission about sketch-a-day blogs to artist-confessions: THANK YOUUUU! I was at summer job when I checked tumblr hopeless and WHOA, BANG, 6 followers out of the blue. Didn’t believe it, couldn’t realize why. Came back home at 2am, checked mails, your submission has been posted bla bla bla. You can’t believe how much I’m glad that my post motivated someone! Being a self-taught artist is difficult; when I first started to draw seriously I didn’t have anyone correcting my mistakes or making me notice flaws so I had to do all by myself - that’s why I want to make others know how, in the end, I achieved to draw like this (and I still have tons to learn yet!). I’m so happy about all the feedbacks you all gave to the post! Keep it up!! I’M OVERDOSING ON EXCLAMATION DOTS

I’m also sorry if I don’t respond to messages sent to me but I got a busy busy busy week and all I wanted to do in my day off was drawing >_< I’ve read the messages though, and I appreciated them so much. Have I already said that I’m happy and moved as hell?

this is supposed to be the finished version, but I forgot one of the ropes and there's some clean up to do, plus gendo is skewed.

I'd rather start over than fix this, started as a doodle and the layers are a mess.
