Hello! This blog is 21+ only as there will be mature themes addressed here as well as usft content. I'm very new to the RP scene and tumblr in general so please be patient with me as I bimble about figuring out how this all works.

In particular I want to explore the emotions and inner conflicts behind our loveable S.T.A.R.S. badass.

1. The standard roleplay rules apply and please do not god mod. If you want to know how Jill would react to something you want to put in a post, just ask! I love discussing character interactions and I'm open to ceding limited control so long as I get to agree to it beforehand.

All the above said, please be patient with me. I hold myself accountable to all the rules I lay out here, but as mentioned I am very new to all of this. I started RP in the beginning of 2026 and I'm still learning terms and etiquette and I will make mistakes. If I make a misstep when writing with you, please reach out to me so that we can discuss it and resolve it like adults.

2. I prefer to write in past tense and third person. I prefer to channel my creativity into my writing so my posts are going to look basic with small text. I generally use italics for Jill's internal thoughts and bold for general emphasis, but I'm still finding my style. I'm a big fan of accessibility so if there are ways you would like me to format my writing for readability or to accommodate a neurodivergence or disability let me know!

3. My interpretation of Jill is my own. I take inspiration both from the canon present in various media, but also a healthy dose of head canon. I love discussing character interpretations because I feel like it helps me learn about her. However, outright criticism of how I write Jill is not something I tolerate, nor will I criticize your portrayal of your character, even if I disagree. If we're not vibing together we can simply part ways. I'm here to write fun stories and revel in a universe I love dearly, not participate in drama.

4. This blog will contain adult themes, primarily nsfw content, but also potentially violence, drug use, and suicidal ideation. Due to events in Jill's canon I will also occasionally reference trauma related to mind control and lack of consent/bodily autonomy. In general, dub-con and non-con are not topics I want to engage in when it comes to nsfw content. I'm going to do my best with tagging trigger warnings appropriately, and if there's something specific you need me to tag or to avoid in writing let's hash it out before we start writing.

5. This blog is both multi-verse and multi-ship, so I consider each character pairing/ship/plot to be a unique universe. I tend to favor writing romance and slice of life content, but I am open to strictly platonic exchanges or more action oriented scenes. Basically, if you've got an idea you're excited about bring it up!

6. Memes and asks are fair game to everyone, this includes nsfw content, no ship or prexiesting plot required. I consider memes and asks to be fun little diversions, even if our characters have an active thread. I'm open to canonizing asks we find fun, or turning them into full blown threads. My memes have no expiration date; if it's under my tag it's fair game. Some suggestive memes are open to interpretation, so if you specifically do not want nsfw content or need to veil/fade to black for an ask, please specify in the ask or reach out to me in a dm.

7. I love original characters and alternate universes, I'm open to work shopping a thread with an OC or with RE characters in an AU.

8. Unfortunately I am not comfortable with duplicates at this time, so I will likely softblock a duplicate blog if you follow me, and I will likely blacklist your blog tag to prevent it from showing up on my dash. I do this because I will personally worry about accidentally stealing ideas or get in my own head about my interpretation. I will update this if my stance changes. I don't like the idea of excluding cool people who also love Jill, I just have to do this to protect my mental health.

9. I will never knowingly interact with AI-generated content or use AI myself in any of the materials on this blog. I put a lot of thought and effort into my work here and the interactions I build with people, it means a lot to me. Sadly AI-generated content of all forms is getting increasingly hard to identify so if I make a mistake I would appreciate a nudge so I can investigate and purge accordingly.

Jill tossed Chris a med pack across the divide and into cover where he was holed up. Three shots rang out in succession, drawn by the flying object. The fuckers had them pinned down good and while the shot Chris had taken was shallow, he wasn't going to be able to move at speed any time soon.

Jill let out a heavy sigh, unable to distract herself from the fact that this was her fault. She'd been the one that suggested they do this without backup, too eager to prove herself. Maybe she wasn't ready to be back in the field if she was going to be make stupid decisions like that, or like the one she was about to make. She was sure the op leader was going to lay into her if they made it out of this alive.

Jill had been slowly edging around the high wall she'd ducked behind, hopefully their assailants still thought she was cowering in position. She looked over at him and it really spoke to how well he knew her that he instantly started shaking his head violently. Thank god Helena had been teaching him sign language, it meant she could at least communicate with him without giving away her position.

She gave him a lopsided grin and a shrug as she signed in his direction, "They hurt you, those assholes are going to die" She hefted her knife from its sheath and was about to make her move when she turned back towards him for a moment. It was awkward to form the signs while holding the blade, but she needed him to know, just in case.

"I love you"

And she stalked out into the night.

Attention fixed. Pen scribbling between intermissions. Normally he's not so tuned to these kind of official meetings considering streams of intel is always passed around via encrypted memos and emails── and of course secured lines between friends. Pen finally coming to a stop, Kennedy slides the folded paper over to Valentine ever so nonchalantly── still maintaining the cues that signaled active listening.

Jill snorted loudly as she examined the paper Leon had slid over to her. All eyes flew to her at the interruption but she played it off by faking a cough and taking long sip of water.

"Apologies, something in my throat, please continue," she affected a bit of a rasp to sell the effect.

She'd forgotten how cute his little drawings were, it'd been awhile seen she'd had the opportunity to appreciate them. Fortunately she had been taking notes in this meeting, so it wasn't too conspicuous for her to flip to a fresh page in her notepad. The last thing she wanted to do was mar his artwork.

She started writing a few lines for him.

"Confirmed, Jake might be able to help."

"Is putting tits on a rock wearing my clothes your way of flirting with me, Kennedy?"

"The answer is 'yes' to dinner."

"I'm Boulder 1, obviously"

She angled her notepad towards him and tapped her pen near the top, smirking. The folded paper containing his art was now tucked securely away for safekeeping.

Puck's head poked into the room from around the corner. Her eyes sparkled with curiosity, though she fidgeted like she was nervous. ❝ Hey, what do you think of clowns ? Or motels ? M- Maybe both . . . ? ❞

Jill couldn't decide which thing unsettled her more, the vague line of questioning or the look in Puck's eyes. And his body language wasn't giving her any clues. Puck being nervous could mean anything from something totally innocent that she was embarrassed about all the way to "oops Jill we have to hide another body."

"Motels are fine I guess…clowns, it kind of depends on the context?" She paused briefly, debating on whether she wanted to know more. The thing was, "knowing more" with Puck was always a mixed bag, but usually the right call to help risk management.

"What's the context, Puck?" she asked warily as she approached the kitchen.

Her partner was on Jill's laptop researching, of all things, the "Clown Motel." If Jill was being honest, it kind of freaked her out a little. She didn't think clowns were scary but even benign things taken to the absolute extreme could become unsettling. Jill ran her fingers through the other woman's hair before giving his chin a few scritches. She might regret offering this, but it'd probably bring Puck joy based on his expression right now.

"Do you…want to go? I have some vacation time saved up" she asked tentatively. "Only one condition, we are not fucking in the Clown Motel." A girl had to have her limits.

Albert would not admit to how much he knew about Jill, but he could guarantee that it wasn't every, little thing. Enough of her past, yes. Enough to know of her questionable behaviour and how it could aid him in the S.T.A.R.S. and even perhaps down the future, but there would still be things that he did not know. What he was more surprised to see was her present herself as vulnerable to him.

Her Captain. Why would she consider him exposing her wrongs? If that were the case, he would have done it months ago, or he simply wouldn't have hired her. But Jill was admitting that he was the only one that actively knew about it. Interesting... So she hadn't spoken to Chris. That surprised him considering he knew that they got along very well, and were partners that worked closely together.

It appeared Jill had shame. How intriguing. She was right to consider him using it as leverage against her, but it still surprised him nonetheless that she willingly told him that she did not want others to know about it.

"Jill, you wound me. If I had any intentions of outing your past, what kind of a Captain would I be?" A skilled one, he considered, and a manipulative one. "My team must work as exactly that: a team. To sabotage you from within would be pointless and require an abundance of paperwork on my end." He had enough on his hands with Umbrella. He didn't need more paperwork added to the stack.

"Besides, your unique skillset has saved many of their asses upon multiple occasions. They should be thankful."

He closed his office door for the evening and grabbed his coat, slipping it over his shoulders before he stepped closer to Jill, her arm cocked out for him to take.

An amused little crease appeared at the side of his lips, and he tucked his arm up against hers, the height difference between them stark now that they were so close. Wesker stood at 6 foot 3 inches. He was the tallest S.T.A.R.S member alongside Barry, who just happened to be an impressive wall of muscle as well.

Admittedly, it had been a long time since Wesker had done anything remotely seen as romantic. It had also been a very long time since he'd had any sort of physical contact that was outside of combat or sparring. He wasn't certain how he felt about it, but he made sure to appear confident.

"I would say lady's first, but you never know what horrors might be lurking in the streets of Raccoon City," he teased, all whilst knowing exactly what those horrors might be. He opened the office door for them and stepped out into the quiet, dank hallway.

While Wesker's words should have been reassuring, Jill found them unsettling. The slight variances she'd seen when it was just the two of them had apparently blinded her a little to her true mission. You'd be the kind of Captain who's hiding something and uses everything to their advantage to keep it that way. It was too calculated of a thing to say, too perfect of a reassurance, and it gave Jill a much needed reminder that she was bringing herself closer to a man she did not trust. She did however smirk at his reference to her saving her teammates asses, he was certainly right about that.

Now that he was properly beside her, she felt twin waves of unease and security. He towered over her, his muscled arm hooked with hers put in perspective just how powerful he probably was. However, it also basically guaranteed no one would fuck with her tonight, and she could focus her attention on Albert.

But, was that…the tiniest falters in his confidence when they got close? It couldn't be. Wesker always carried an air of unshakeable confidence, but Jill could swear she saw that break for a fraction of a second before it was quickly masked again. Was she having the effect on him that she wanted? If Jill was being honest, that was a slightly confusing prospect for her, but it did give her an idea of how to push the envelope.

She shivered slightly at his mention of "horrors." There was something about the way he said it, how it seemed factual instead of a jest. She lightly smacked his arm with the one he wasn't holding, "Don't say shit like that, it's creepy." She paused for a moment before adding, "do you know what 'horrors' lurk the streets, Captain?" This did work to her advantage a little bit because being genuinely unsettled was going to make the next part of her plan a little easier.

As luck would have it, she didn't have to wait long before a car passed by and honked it's horn. It always seemed to happen at least once or twice on her walks home. At the sound Jill made a big show clutching his arm and pressing her body against his with an accompanying yelp. This close to him she was overpowered by the warmth of his body and the strong scent of his cologne. She wanted to separate them again, but she simply had to know how he would react to this so she held firm against him.

They finally reached her apartment complex and she took a moment to look up at him, "Well here's me."

           “  y-you  can  absolutely  touch  m-me…  i-i  uh,  mean  -  ”  grace  groaned,  covering  her  face  in  her  hands  from  embarrassment.

though  if  anything,  she  would  have  hoped  for  a  kiss  -  but  at  least  a  hug  was  something.  it  meant  that  jill  didn't  totally  hate  her  or  despise  her  very  existence.  which  was  what  grace  was  most  afraid  of.  after  all,  grace  had  started  their  little  jaunt  in  the  training  room,  it  was  her  fault  that  jill  was  now  suspended  and  would  have  that  on  her  record.  she  wouldn't  blame  the  other  woman  for  hating  her  and  never  wanting  to  speak  to  her  again.

had  she  not  left  that  note  on  her  desk,  grace  might  have  just  quit  the  force  and  left  forever  out  of  embarrassment  and  shame  and  moved  to  another  city.

“  w-what?  i-i  mean!  i'm  totally  happy  to  see  you  too  -  b-but  its  my  fault!  a-and  you  ended  up  taking  the  fall  for  it,  t-thats  such  bullshit!”  grace  got  out  quickly,  her  face  morphing  into  one  of  indignation  on  jill's  behalf.

“  i-i  totally  kissed  you  first  -  ”  something  she  was  still  cringing  over.

it  was  so  unlike  her  to  pull  the  first  move.  and  she  had  done  it  with  her  totally  awesome  and  amazingly  hot  coworker  of  all  people.  she  must  have  had  something  bad  to  eat  that  day,  why  else  would  she  be  acting  absolutely  insane?

“  i-i  should  have  picked  a  b-better  time  to  kiss  you  -  i'm  so  sorry  that  you  got  suspended,  i  feel  a-awful  about  it…”

Jill blushed a little harder at Grace's statement. Yes, ma'am, filing that away for later. This woman was going to be her undoing, it wasn't fair.

"Let's agree that we both probably could've behaved better at work," she said with a small smile. It was endearing how indignant Grace had gotten on her behalf. "Besides, there's a lot worse than 'making out on the job' in my criminal record, it'll be fine." she huffed. It was a little odd that Wesker hadn't simply disciplined them both equally, but she chalked it up to Grace being new to the force.

Jill knew that they really needed to be having a more serious talk right now, about how to move forward, what they both wanted, all sorts of things. Jill sucked at that kind of thing and Grace would not stop mentioning kissing her. Every time the word came out of the blonde's mouth, Jill's eyes snapped to her lips. It was insanely distracting and caused her skin to tingle.

"We need to have an responsible, adult conversation later" she started, more to hold herself accountable to that another time, "but I'm not good at talking about things." Jill gazed at Grace for a long time before shifting her body closer on the couch.

"Do you know why I call you 'Trouble'?" she mused, trailing her fingers along Grace's arm. "We're coworkers, we even work in the same office, and I can't seem to think straight around you. You're trouble, Grace." Jill leaned in and pressed Grace's body down onto the couch, hovering over her.

"Is now a better time to kiss me? Because I need you to know, I can't stay away from trouble," she purred.

Jill bent down and brought her mouth to the other woman's. It was a slow a questing kiss, curious to see how Grace would respond. She took one hand and hiked up Grace's top, running her hand along the smooth skin of her stomach that she'd denied herself the night before. Every nerve in her body was shot through with want, begging her to go further, but she didn't want to push Grace any further than she was willing to go.

She struck a cord. Though...not in the bad way? From what Grace could tell. Grace followed Jill to this deli; she hadn't really tried exploring around where she lived. So she didn't know really much about the local area.

"More like, I found myself in the middle of an outbreak. I was kidnapped from the Wrenwood Hotel and found myself at Rhodes Hill." Having her blood taken for testing. To see if she was the one they were looking for. Along with The Girl monster she learned was Emily's friend; named Marie. "Stealth. It...It was mostly sneaking around and working with what I could find. And I had to collect these weird quartz to open a back door." Grace continued on with each bite of what she had ordered.

Jill could see part of her reason to protect someone special. "Yeah...I wouldn't have been able to escape the Care Center without her. Her name's Emily, she read the braille on one of the puzzle boxes to get the last one I needed. Though...after she got horribly injured, she turned...into some kind of monster."

Grace remembered her pleading to Leon to not kill Emily. Still feeling guilt and that she couldn't save the girl; despite the fact she's still standing. Where she had given up and was taken to the place it started for many people.

"I was taken to Raccoon City because of that lab, where Elpis was held; underneath an orphanage." Grace paused in thought. It was still on her mind; never left really. "One of the things my mom hid at the hotel was an MO Disk. It had footage of an interview she did with Spencer. It probably didn't survive ARK's destruction."

"I can definitely teach you a thing or two about stealth, it's my specialty. It won't necessarily always work depending on the bioweapon, but it's very effective against un-enhanced humans." Jill let the implication linger. Grace had only mentioned wanting training regarding bioweapons, but how much of a target might this woman have on her back?

She scoffed a little at the mention of her having to collect strange objects. "What is with that sort of thing? Who designs these doors? I once had to collect four masks, solve a puzzle, and all it gave me was a key to a door somewhere else in the mansion I was in."

Jill paused, dumbfounded as Grace continued and told her about Emily. It didn't surprise her that this Emily turned into a monster after receiving critical damage, many bioweapon strains triggered rapid evolution when the host's life was in danger. But the way Grace had spoken very much implied that Emily had survived all that.

"So…Emily…was cured and survived her wounds?" she asked softly. She hadn't been given much detailed information on what Elpis could do, but this floored her. This could save so many more lives if transformed victims could be restored.

Jill bristled slightly at the mention of Spencer, though she shouldn't have been surprised. The report had mentioned the interview she was referring to now, and how supposedly he might've felt remorse about all the horrible things he was involved in. She was thankful that Elpis existed, but she would never be able to get over how many terrible events in her life had either directly or indirectly been influenced by that man. Grace, however did not deserve her ire. She probably wasn't even connected to Spencer beyond her investigation.

"Sounds like you're the only one left who has knowledge of that interview then Miss Ashcroft. I've read your report, so I know the high level details that you put in there. Is there more?" She quirked an eyebrow at Grace as they finished their lunch. Why would Grace have brought that up specifically?

if   he's   honest,   he   could   use   a   shower   of   his   own,   but   he   is   far   too   bone   tired   to   drag   himself   in   there   when   she's   done.   For   now,   getting   out   of   these   clothes   is   going   to   be   work   enough.   Being   mentally    and   physically   drained   will   take   a   lot   of   out   of   someone   and   with   what   they   have   coming   in   the   next   few   days,   they   will   need   all   the   rest   they   can   get.

When   she's   done   with   her   shower,   he   watches   as   she   moves   across   the   room   to   his   dog.   Skalli   is   passed   out   good   and   probably   wouldn't   wake   for   anything   unless   a   mission   was   involved.   Good.   She   could   use   some   good   rest.   Poor   thing.   There   are   times   he   feels   bad   for   still   keeping   her   working,   but   she's   like   him.   She   loves   the   job   and   wouldn't   be   happy   just   sitting   around   all   the   time.

"It   wasn't   ever   really   intended,   but   it   made   sense   since   she   was   already   assigned   to   me.   I   couldn't   go   anywhere   without   her   so   she   was   trained   to   do   what   we   do."   He   wouldn't   have   one   either   if   he   couldn't   bring   it   along   with   him.   Not   every   animal   could   be   like   his   faithful   friend.   She   is   one   of   a   kind   after   all.

With   the   way   she   speaks,   Thor   can   pick   up   on   the   implications.   He   stands   with   his   own   expression   of   want.   He   tilts   his   head   to   the   side   trying   to   decide   if   she   means   what   she   says.   Jill   doesn't   seem   like   the   bullshitting   type.   She   knows   what   she   wants   and   in   this   line   of   work   you   take   what   pleasure   you   can   get   while   you   can.   ""So   the   'big   lug   head'   gets   promoted   from   teammate   to   pillow?   I   can   live   with   that   arrangement."   He   says   with   a   smirk   and   removes   his   shirt,   tossing   it   to   the   side.

Jill's breath catches in her throat at the sight of him uncovered, she hadn't realized they chiseled men out of stone where he came from. Heat pools low in her belly and she silently thanks past Jill for having restraint in the shower. It is going to make this raw and feral and exactly what she needs right now.

She stalks over to him, unhooking her bra and tossing it next to his discarded shirt as she brings her body flush with his. Her hands roam his chest, surveying the landscape of his flesh as she stands on her tip toes to reach his mouth. God it really has been too long. The kiss is brief and messy but she has other things on her mind. As she pulls away Jill nips at his lower lip.

"Promoted, just for tonight perhaps," she teases, "we do have work to do tomorrow after all." She takes one of his hands and trails his fingers down her body, starting from her breasts to her stomach, settling just above the waistband of her pajamas. "You know, Odinson, pillows belong on the bed, and your hands should be occupied by now."

She wraps her arms around his neck and pulls him down into another kiss, this one longer. She'd felt an anticipation building inside her ever since she first laid eyes on him at the airport. This is probably a terrible mistake, mixing work and pleasure, but one thing is certain—Jill's going to sleep very well tonight.

Jill scowled at Claire even though the other woman had done nothing to deserve her ire. She'd been in a fowl mood all week and alcohol was probably the wrong choice. But when Claire had invited her out to blow off some steam, there was no way she could say no. They both needed a bit of a break after the narrowly escaping Raccoon City with their lives. Their paths hadn't crossed during those awful nights, but there was something to be said about trauma-bonding, and unsurprisingly Claire had sought Jill out for any information about her brother.

"Of course I'm not alright! The past 5 months have been a fucking nightmare for me." she seethed.

She instantly regretted it the second the words left her mouth. She really needed to find a better way to cope with what she'd been through. Even surviving the zombie apocalypse didn't justify being a bitch to a friend. This was going to be her last beer and she needed to make sure she got some proper rest tonight.

"I'm sorry Claire, that was shitty of me. Not like your life has been a picnic recently." It was a weak apology but the bare minimum that she deserved. "I wish I could help more, but Chris didn't have any solid leads when he left. I haven't even talked to him in awhile." It cut deep to not know where her best friend was. She knew he was more than capable of handling himself but Chris did have a knack for getting himself into trouble.

"Maybe start with France?" It was as good of a guess as any.

Entirely expectant that Jill would understand the complexity that any form of romantic relationship would have between two colleagues of the R.P.D, Wesker was certain that this would lead to nowhere. Feign attraction, she would feel flattered by it--after all, Albert was her Captain, she should feel touched that he would consider anything more than professional with her.

But there were solid boundaries that likely should never be crossed. Sure, he knew that his coworkers all did things behind closed doors. Wesker didn't care. Since when had he been against a little rule breaking? So long as everyone was getting their work done, he was happy to turn a blind eye. He wasn't a total hardarse of a boss, he knew they were humans (and quite frankly, he enjoyed watching as they all mingled with each other). Even in the Army, men were men, and women were women. They didn't kiss and tell, but they fucked like tonight might have been their last. For some, it had been, and they could die remembering the soft scent of a woman's skin against them before the bullets snatched them.

Even Albert had met a woman during his service, though that was something he disregarded in the moment.

A soft hum left his throat, the smallest of smiles at the corner of his thin lips. "Jill Valentine, easy to read? Now I wouldn't have hired you if I thought you weren't good at keeping your secrets under lock and key." It was play on words, due to her mastery of lockpicking. None of them would make good cops if they were that easy to read, and they both knew it.

She hadn't a clue in how true her words were. Just how dangerous Racoon City actually was. Not just for any damsel in distress, but even him. Muggers were the least of their worries when it came to the horrors that lurked beneath the city, and Wesker felt a heat settle pleasantly in his gut at the thought.

He removed his glasses, folding them and hanging them from his chest pocket.

"You don't need me to walk you home, Jill. Give your Captain some credit. But if you're offering... I would not decline to be your knight in shining armour." He, too, wanted her to take the bait he was offering.

Jill let out a small chuckle at his pun, and he certainly seemed pleased with himself. "My secrets are buried in my past, and I'm pretty sure you know all of them." she said matter-of-factly. Jill remembered the tense conversation they'd had on her first day in S.T.A.R.S. Well, it had been tense for her because she'd been terrified that he was going to use her background as leverage against her in some way. But he'd almost seemed pleased at what he'd discovered and he'd made it clear he knew everything.

"But only you know them, Wesker. Don't tell the others, please. This is a fresh start for me, and I don't want to be judged for my upbringing." No one else in S.T.A.R.S. knew about her former career and she intended to keep it that way. It was dangerous to hand him a piece of leverage like that, but he technically already had it, he just knew it was something he could use now.

Jill was surprised by a genuine smile that pulled at her lips at his offer. Apparently he could be charming if he wanted to. She gathered her things and made for the door, pausing in the eye-line of his open door, "Well if you're going to be my knight, then you need to look the part." She cocked one of her arms out for him to take. Let's see how he reacts to being close to me.

Jill needed to figure out what her long term strategy was when it came to all this. Yes she was trying to disarm him to get him to reveal his secrets but what was she even looking for? And what was she going to do if it didn't work? She knew she didn't trust him, and she was convinced he was hiding something regarding the Spencer Estate and the reported attacks in the woods. But where did any of that lead?

She found herself genuinely looking forward to a walk home where she didn't have to constantly watch her back. It was true that Jill could handle pretty much any threat that came her way, but every woman walking alone at night kept a constant vigil, no matter how capable. It also meant she focus purely on him and his reactions to her company. She hadn't realized his eyes were such a piercing blue, and she had no idea why her brain had decided to file that piece of information away.
