From the moment I left work yesterday evening I thought of the poor animals outside suffering in this killing-cold temperature drop. I haven't stopped thinking of them, though I'm trying not to. I'm feeling really down, spending the #holidays alone. But I can't stop thinking of them. If you're in a position to #help, whether #donating to #rescues or being able to set up temporary #shelters. As soon as I left work today & felt how frigid it was, this is where my mind went. SO many street kitties are going to die today/tonight. Some ask "What about people? You don't feel bad for them?" Of course I do. But humans have resources (thought more are obviously needed, especially with rental prices forcing people out of their apts.) The throwaways abandoned, & ignored street animals won't make it.
