“The lone wolf dies, but the pack survives”
I don’t know about everyone else but I rather like the ending:
Dany’s mission was the break the wheel, though it wasn’t entirely her doing, it was achieved. From now on, the reigning monarch of the Seven Six Kingdoms will be elected, not passed down through family.
Bran, though he isn’t everyone’s first choice, his skills as the three eyed raven will come to good use. His lack of leadership will be useful, for it means he will never be a tyrant. (Let’s be honest, Tyrion is pretty much the King isn’t he, I mean he’s the one who will make all the decisions lol)
Sansa, the one we all (I hope) believed should have been Queen has become one. Since she was young she has always wanted to be Queen, but now she is Queen due to her own right to the throne, not because she married the King. #GoSansa
Arya, the one who could never be pinned down probably never will be. She will discover new lands, and possibly become a ruler of sorts herself (who knows.) We don’t know who is on the ship with her, maybe Gendry is, who knows. She will have the opportunity to do her own thing, like she pretty much always has.
And Jon, little Jon. Is ALIVE. He could have been killed, but no, he’s alive and with the free folk. I’ve always thought Jon was like them: He was never one for fine clothes and crowns, he just want to be respected and to do what needed to be done. I suppose that’s similar to the free folk, they don’t like the ‘south’ much either. Maybe he will find someone he can love who won’t shoot him with arrows or try to control him… I hope we will be happy. Plus Tormund will look after him, no doubt about that.
And Ghost, back with Jon and got all the pets he deserved. And many more to come I hope ❤️
So yeah, maybe this isn’t as bad as we thought it was. And hey, it’s finished in a way that COULD allow it to be revisited later on… Who knows.
