Game of Thrones = Into the Badlands
Both equally awesome shows with a lot of similarities. If you love Game of Thrones, you’ll definitely love this one. Game of Thrones is set in a fantasy medieval world while Into the Badlands is set in a fantasy dystopian future. Both covers the story of how different houses or barons fights for dominance. If you’re looking for something to binge after the end of Game of Thrones, you can start with this one if you haven’t heard of it. You’ll not get disappointed.
Daenerys = Minerva
Rises to power while the other houses are at war which each other and struggles with inner demon in doing what is right and what needs to be done.
Arya = Tilda
“Little” girl that gets underestimated by others but proven to be very skillful and deadly and does not forgive nor forget those who betrays her.
Jon = Sunny The reluctant character that get stuck in the middle of everything and had no other choice in the end but to act before something worse happens.
Sam = Bajie The friendly, chatty and informative partner in crime who despite their comedic nature proves capable in fighting when cornered and can be count on. Catelyn = Lydia A dedicated wife and loyal lady or baroness who struggles to pull the family together and fierce when it comes to protecting her family.
GoT finale. Sigh, what can I even say. A few good points I suppose.
1. Sansa gets her position, good for her, she deserves it.
2. Drogon burnt that throne. What a good fucking boy.
3. Grey Worm doing exactly what I hoped for him. Living in service of his boo and carrying on her memory.
Everything else. Ehhh...
Ultimately what's really the message we're getting here? War bad? Democracy good? Do the common people even have a voice in the end? What about Essos? Is putting a selfish uneducated sellsword in charge of a castle a good idea? People who don't want jobs or care about them should get it in the end? Not important here's a convenient easy straw woman for the good white men of the world to put in their place. Armies of men of color coming to rape and pillage white women and children are the ultimate enemy who must be educated or put in their place. And then having the gall to incorporate Nazi imagery without recognizing the irony.
I mean it could've been worse. The show is pretty overall and an impressive bit of history no doubt. The cast was grand of course. But ultimately I couldn't help but feel a little empty. Like ten years for what exactly?

it takes two seconds to send a raven from dragonstone and the citadel to winterfell but of course theres no raven from castle black because the writers dont care about bran :^)

Game of Thrones
So we saw when Sam Tarley went to study as a maester that the library seemed to have a chandelier that resembled the flying ring thing from the title sequence. I had another thought today. The title sequence essentially is made up of an overview of the entirety of Westeros kind of being built like it's being constructed from a collapsed model set if that makes sense? What if that's exactly what that title sequence is showing, is a model of the Seven Realms. A model that could be, perhaps, in the library that Sam is studying in. What if the whole thing that we're watching here is revealed to be at the end of the show a recollection of stories that Sam has collected over his years and has compiled during his life as a maester. Like the last scene of the show is a very old Sam wrapping up the history of this time in Westeros while sitting near a model of the land which is what we see in opening sequence. This probably has been postulated by multiple people before but I just thought that this could be a very interesting way to wrap the show up
