Mock-up renders of Eternal Successors, the working title for Michael Latham’s in-development sequel to his cult-classic, Eternal Champions. Keep in mind, this project is being worked on independent of Sega - however, considering that Sega has commissioned Taxman and Stealth to develop Sonic Mania, as well as their recent collaboration with the IP holders of both Wonder Boy and ToeJam & Earl - Sega is no stranger to settling IP disputes, and bringing products forward to the public. Should Sega not bite, Latham plans to soldier forward without their blessing, and make a new IP - an eternal successor, if you will…
Amazing homage to R-Type. Don’t miss it!
After reading about Sega’s interest in making movies based on their classic franchises, I instantly thought about Streets of Rage. I think it’s one of their classic franchises which could be better translated into a live-action, since its fantasy elements are almost unexistant. Also, searching for a cast who resembles the protagonists shouldn’t be too hard. I had many good contenders for each role, although in the end my favourite ones were those pictured.
