Yea yea my 2013 performance at the Grammys was absolute shit. Technical difficulties, blah blah. Thanks for the reminder. Very much appreciated. Fuck that performance though. You think that's why I kept my work out of the Grammy process this year? Don't you think I would've wanted to play the show to 'redeem' myself if I felt that way? In reality, I actually wanted to participate in honoring Prince on the show but then I figured my best tribute to that man's legacy would be to continue to be myself out here and to be successful. Winning a TV award doesn't christen me successful. It took me some time to learn that. I bought all my masters back last year in the prime of my career, that's successful. Blonde sold a million plus without a label, that's successful. I am young, black, gifted and independent.. that's my tribute. I've actually been tuning into CBS around this time of year for a while to see who gets the top honor and you know what's really not 'great TV' guys? 1989 getting album of the year over To Pimp A Butterfly. Hands down one of the most 'faulty' TV moments I've seen. Believe the people. Believe the ones who'd rather watch select performances from your program on YouTube the day after because your show puts them to sleep. Use the old gramophone to actually listen bro, I'm one of the best alive. And if you're up for a discussion about the cultural bias and general nerve damage the show you produce suffers from then I'm all for it. Have a good night.

Why I think Kanye West is underrated.

Have you ever heard someone say that Kanye West is a jerk? Or a douchebag? I have, but in my opinion I think they’re wrong, here’s why.

First of all, they hate Kanye because of the ego he has had in his career. People think that he’s stupid because he thinks he’s a genius. There is nothing wrong to be proud of your own work, NOTHING WRONG! And Kanye is praising his work.

Second, they hate Kanye because they think that his music is bad. Really? I mean, i’m no music expert, but every expert sats that Kanye is one of the most important musicians of the millenia. The reason people hate on Kanye’s music isn’t because it’s bad, it’s because they hate him. Ask a guy 3 Kanye songs he hates, and he will not respond to you. You know why? Because he doesn’t know his music.

I mean, have you heard My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy? That’s gotta be one of the most important hip-hop albums of all time. All the collabs, the songs are written beautifly, it is a great album.

And he’s not a dick with fans, there are 2 cases in which he has heard rappers that are in a rise, and he respects them, he helps them into being a better rapper. Don’t just stick to the media and say he’s a dumass, because he is not.

So please, respect Kanye more, and give him a chance, listen to some of his music, you won’t regret it.

Well, just heard Moon Shaped Pool. Pretty cool album, SO RELAXING! I’ve heard the last Radiohead albums and they’re so melancholic, so low-tone, but they’re pretty awesome. Good job Radiohead!

Binge-Watchers

Binge-Watching has taken over my fucking life.  First, OITNB (R.I.P Poussey, cut Bayley and Caputo some slack), then Daredevil, and now fucking Jessica Jones! But more is yet to come, I need to finish watching Flash S2, 4th and 5th of Breaking Bad, 6th and 7th of Parks and Rec, and more than half of That 70′s show. And then, fucking Narcos is coming out, so fuck me. Bring me some fucking food, because the binge watching aint stopping. My sleep schedule is more fucked up than Courtney Love, so yeah, fuck it. Let’s binge watch some more, and see how much I can suffer from it.
