crystal reed for the moral compass?

Merve Bolugur, Florence Faivre, Jhene Aiko, Christian Serratos - could any of these fc's work for The Moral Compas?
Oooh, I could totally see Florence Faivre or Christian Serratos as The Moral Compass.
We don't have to use one of the suggested FCs for the character listed, do we? I'm interested in applying for "Captain Save-A-Hoe" (love that title) but in my head I'm imagining her as a variant of Asian.
No, of course not! Youâre more than welcome to use whoever you please! The FCs are just to give some guidance. I would prefer if you did stay within the suggested age range of though! I love the title too, btw.

ASSIGNMENT: [ 001 ] : FATALE DOSSIER
Most of these ladies have a files as thick as a dictionary. They were recruited for a reason after all. Hereâs a look into the CONFIDENTIAL files of the Gang Fatales.Â
When is the next acceptance?
I havenât set an exact date. Most likely when we get another 3 to 4 apps.
MOLLY SAINT is a TWENTY-ONE year old FATALE. She is known as the âSECRET WEAPONâ. She also happens to be a MUTANT with the ability of TELEPORTATION. Molly bears an unmistakable resemblance to INDIA EISLEY.
Molly was born to a family in New York City, her mother was a crack addicted prostitute and her father was the womanâs pimp. She was lucky to be allowed to live, seeing as most pimps will force an abortion.. Well that depends on how you define LUCKY. For most people lucky isnât being brought up in a home with men coming in and out at all hours, loud parties til after dawn, drug sales, drive bys, abuse⊠But it was home. Yeah, mommy and daddy beat up on their precious little princess. At least until she learned to hit back.
Maybe thats why her powers appeared. Who knows? Molly doesnt know or care, but nonetheless by age two things began to tremble around the house when she was angry or scared or upset. No one could quite pinpoint it, but things got a little hectic in the house, a little uneasy. And thus, they calmed for awhile and little Molly got a few years break from the beatings.
Eventually they started again. Luckily by this time she had managed to acknowledge her abilities, reading and studying any literature about mutants she could get her hands on. And practice, practice, practice in the relative safety of her bedroom. Unless mommy got high or daddy was angry⊠And then little Molly was black and blue, but biding her time and strengthening her abilities while trying to do well in school to get the hell out of there. Wouldnt you?
Cue puberty, about the time something snapped in Mollyâs pretty little brain. Years of abuse can do that to you. She managed to hide it until she was legal and daddy decided she needed to âearn her keepâ on the streets like Mommy. Well, Daddy ended up going⊠missing. No big waste in her opinion. He was never found and Molly left mother dearest in her hellhole to rot while she moved out of the city, ending up in New Orleans awhile.
Molly had gone off the deep end. For all intents and purposes she was this sweet little babydoll and it worked for her. What she couldnât talk people out of she stole, using her abilities to get in and out most of the time while the city had its share of strange deaths and disappearances during her time there. Some people couldnât keep their mouth shut.
They never saw it coming and who would suspect the sweet faced stranger?
All good things come to an end, however. The girl had thought that she was getting away with so much. Little did she know that she was being watched. Her moves were observed and recorded, filed away until the time was right and she was rushed while her guard was down.
A specially crafted cocktail of drugs kept her powers in check in captivity, locked away in a cage until it was time to bring the little doll out to be of some use.
HELENA DRAGOVÂ is a TWENTY-EIGHT year old FATALE. She is known as the âSECOND IN COMMANDâ. She also happens to be a MUTANT with the ability of PAIN ILLUSION. Helena bears an unmistakable resemblance to NINA DOBREV.
Growing up, Helena had quickly learned that in her household, it was always better to be feared than loved when you were in a position of power. Her mother was never the one in charge, it always seemed to be a power struggle between the headstrong young girl and whatever her motherâs latest boyfriend was. When her mother wasnât with anyone in particular, Helenaâs personality was commanding to start with. As a child, she was adorably precocious, but the cuteness started to wear out with each year, and Helena learned that threats got her what she wanted faster than playing a game of batting eyelashes and saccharine smiles.Â
She would threaten her mother that she would run away to be able to go out at even a young age, she would threaten to spill secrets told in drunken confidence to get her hands on all sorts of substances, and she would threaten to break the wrists of anyone who laid an unwelcome hand on her. She ruled her high school social scene with an iron fistâthe classic popular girl that everyone wasnât really sure if they loved her or feared her. But everyone was sure to do as she said. Â Most of the time, her piercing expression would be enough, but sometimes it wasnât.
A boy at a party grabbed her wrist too hard, at the wrong sort of angle. The pain shot through her arm and in that moment, all she could think was how she wanted him to feel what she was feeling. He recoiled, holding his own wrist, stumbling away through the crowd. She thought it was strange, but who knows what sort of things were being passed around. She had seen it happen a few more times, but she always blamed it on the drugs combined with an inherent fear of her and her reputation.
Her mother continued to let her daughter do as she pleased, and her boyfriends were hardly any help to step in. Her motherâs boyfriends always seemed to be an even weaker constitution than her. Maybe it was her only chance to get a leg up on anyone, since she couldnât even get a handle on her daughter who was spiraling deeper into a world of drugs and partying. But, her mother changed her type. A man who was far more strict came into the house.
Helena would publicly and privately fight with him. Maybe she wanted her mother to step in and step up and protect her. Maybe she was just upset at the threat to her position as top dog in her own home. But she was suddenly throwing everything she had at him, trying to get a handle on her control. Seductions, threats, lies. Instead of finding the point where he would cave to her, she found the point where he snapped. He assaulted her and her mind shut off. It wasnât like before where she had immediately wanted to see the pain reflected. There was just⊠emptiness.
But after some time, Helena wanted revenge. She stewed for so long in her own pain, she could swear she heard it electrifying the air. She didnât just wanted him to feel her pain. He wanted her to feel her physical pain and mental anguish ten fold. He slammed the door when he came home, and all her thoughts zeroed in on him. And thatâs when her understanding of her abilities clicked.
She now felt like she had the ultimate upper hand. She would feel a drain after using her abilities, but she knew how to use them strategically, rarely pushing herself too far. She eventually fell in with a drug ring, acting as the muscle without ever having to lift a finger. It was effective⊠But flashy. They managed to evade notice long enough for Helena to rocket up the ranks until she had taken over the reigns from the currently leader. By the time the government caught up to them, Helena was the young and beautiful drug kingpin known to drive her enemies mad. But they managed to capture her in a sting that ended with Helena hit hard and fast with electrocution and kept under heavy sedation while they performed experiments to determine the source of her abilities. She didnât make any friends there, but even under the medications, she could see the fear in their eyes, and just be the slightest bit satisfied.
She wondered, when they let up on the experiments and offered her a place on a team, if dangling leadership in front of her by placing her second in commandâshe was smart, vicious, and commandingâwas a final bit of torture for her to suffer through. Nevertheless, she believes she can show them the error of their ways. That she deserves to be the leader, that maybe she even deserves to be free of any sort of command at all.Â
