Been a wild year so far, sorry if i haven’t messaged you back yet. Working out some stuff and trying to get back to the things that used to make me happy. Addendum

I’d like to bring everyone’s attention to this section from the beginning of Trevor’s statement:

In the wake of everything that’s been exposed, this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t believe victims. 

Every situation is different. Every accusation should be handled with equal caution, grace, and integrity. These claims specifically being false is substantiated. That doesn’t take away from any other unrelated claims.

Additionally; nobody should be using this situation to shame anybody else. Like Trevor said, people had perfectly understandable reasons to side with E. You shouldn’t look down on people for having empathy or being mislead. Nobody who believed her should feel guilty. We were not directly involved in this conflict; we had no way of knowing the truth.

Finally, please remember that men can be victims of abuse. Their claims should be taken just as seriously as any other. They deserve just as much empathy.

Trevor made this statement to build trust, and that’s exactly how to respond. Some people lie, and some people don’t- life isn’t always straightforward, and it’s important to remember that. In the wake of this and everything else that’s happened this month, let’s learn, process, and move on with love in our hearts as a community.

In this house we love and respect Geoff Ramsey and Trevor Collins, both of whom didn’t deserve to have to come out publicly about their private lives and struggles just to give details to the community which we did not have privy to

we also hate R for forcing everyone in this situation, the people that considered him family, to put their lives and the trauma and hurt they’ve had to go through on blast like this just for the community to trust them

Okay so it turns out there’s more I want to say about the Trevor thing. Can we talk about how shitty it is that the main takeaway from Trevor’s statement seems to be “thankfully Trevor isn’t actually an abuser” and not the fact that Trevor had publicly talk about how he was abused??? He had to go through dozens of horrible text messages from E and go into detail about how she treated him for years. Stop complaining about how you wanted him to address this sooner, talking about abuse isn’t easy and people cope in different ways. It took so much courage to do that and I’m so proud of Trevor for coming out of the situation stronger.

anyone ultra relieved that Trevor has cleared his own name? watching Trevor-centric vids were a lil sketch for me after I heard the allegations even tho they were unsubstantiated and ppl were attacking Trevor even during the worst of the RH situation.

it def sucks that he had to put so much of his life out there but I’m glad he got to do it on his own terms and cleared his name with grace. also rly happy that he got to move on with barb, the way E talks to him is abusive and appalling, and she doesn’t deserve any more mention or attention.

Even the idea that there is a video where an American man rape a kid makes me sick. Ashton Kutcher is doing a great job by using his power and privilege to raise awareness about human trafficking. Every parent dreams of the bright, happy and SAFE future to his/her child. This guy tries to change this country, this world into a better one. This Hollywood celebrity woke up and tried to draw the government’s attention to this very crucial problem of child trafficking.

Honestly God bless Ashton Kutcher and anybody else who is actively engaged in the fight against child trafficking. People telling him it’s “not his place” can stick it up their ass, this is a real problem and he’s actually doing something about it, and I applaud him wholeheartedly.
