Curly is lowkey kinda ugly, but Ponyboy, who is still fully convinced he’s straight, is somehow completely immune to this, like:

curly would take really stupid pictures w ponys camera but theres points where everything in his mind connects and he has the greatest idea ever and the talent of a photographer (an obvious amateur but still relatively good one, think tumblr photography. ponys more insta photographer level)
