I noticed a distinct lack of Evil!Reigen aus in the fandom, which I had to rectify immediately. Here’s ClawBoss!Reigen, who suits the ending preview for Ep. 9 that made him look a bit too much like he actually runs the Claw organization.

A summary of the au/qualities of evil!Reigen:

Reigen grew up with Toichiro, as they shared a similar level in psychic power. He had lived a normal life, but grew bitter the longer he worked with the public. He met with Toichiro and eventually agreed to join Claw. He now plans to overthrow Toichiro.

Reigen works as an amateur psychic so that he can scout out the area in search of other espers to recruit. When he discovers Mob, the sheer power that comes from the boy overwhelms Reigen, and he plans to use Mob as a tool to take down Toichiro.

That is until he accidentally becomes Mob’s mentor, growing closer to him each week, and he quickly becomes reluctant to involve Mob in his plans at all. Basically: evil!Reigen cannot overpower the dad-ness inside of him.

Reigen exaggerates how powerful he is, but not by much.

Reigen is only reformed when his desire to protect the esper kids overrides his desire to “get back” at society.

He still waves his arms around way too much.
