@thegodwhocums Pardon the mess, everything has been happening a lot lately.
This table was acquired from a local Antique shop, I sent photos to my partner who agreed it was perfect.
Above sits our familiar dead, with offerings from the garden, below Saturn rests with assorted items and heirlooms and dormant plants/seeds/pods. Seeds that are to be planted on top, foraging/gathering beside.
The final image was another piece of furniture, shelving, that didn't quite work out for what I needed and so it was condemned to mundane trinket duty. I figured it worth showing that it doesn't always work out but you can always find a use for it.

I am going to have to learn how to patch drywall because I've dug grooves into the wall behind our bed and HE KNOWS HOW TO PATCH IT BUT REFUSES.
She tried to photobomb this timed photo so I made her the star.
Steroids are making me.... evil.

Path & Practice Survey - Deadspitfaedm
Here is a fun little survey for anyone who wants to participate. You do not have to be tagged or receive any asks to join. You do not have to be a @pathandpractice tag member to participate. It is not an ask game; just a good, old fashion myspace-style survey. Just copy this post questions, post your answers, and (if you feel like it) tag a few blogs. Please keep this description and credit to @pathandpractice when reposting. ✨
If your magic had a theme song what would it be?

What’s the weirdest substitute component you’ve ever used?
I struggled to rack my brain for something "weird", especially in the context of Witchcraft. I typically don't substitute materials anymore because most workings I do are with components I have to hand or have planned on using and therefore have. I will say that spit/my mouth is surprisingly useful though across most workings.
What’s a superstition you don’t believe?
Love the number 13.
What’s the most chaotic spell outcome? How off target did it go?
Spellwork to rekindle a relationship, the person who asked me to perform it fell in love with me. Whoops.
What’s something completely mundane that feels magical to you?
The mundane IS inherently magical. That being said, specifically, anything involving the woodstove, my ancestors used firewood to stay warm just as I do.
What kind of magic are you bad at?
Hmmmm. Healing. Probably why I am so interested in herbal medicine.
What’s a sign or omen you completely misread at first?
I did a working with Mars and was warned of a very abrupt and violent end, to which I did not understand. I sought guidance from my partner at the time, the true subject of the vision, who told me it was about myself. It was about his infidelity in our marriage. Whoops.
If your altar could judge you what would it say you’re neglecting?
Nothing comes to mind I'm afraid. I build my altar and take it down for the needs of each individual working. I do have shrines that stay up consistently, for each planet, but they are pretty well equipped.
What is one witchcraft hill you will die on?
You cannot be a bridge between worlds without having a foot in each. This means you must die, and in many cases, more than once.
What’s a habit you’ve turned into ritual?
Cooking. Divining. Grooming.
If you could take the shape of an animal for a day what would you choose?
Bypassing animal, I would like to be any mushroom (though if I get to choose I would like to be an Amanita) so I can feel what it is like to connect to the mycelium network.
If your magic had a moral alignment, what would it be?
Chaotic (Neutral/Good)
What’s a belief you had early in your practice that you laugh at now?
I wouldn't say I "had" it but I felt compelled to adopt it because I was surrounded by those who utilized a "Consort" and "Goddess" figure or pairing. This dynamic does not suit any of my workings, magic, or beliefs. Most fertility "rites" and practices miss the mark for me, fertility in itself is a subject that the Occult/Magical community would be best to reframe. I believe that Death, Rot and Compost, are more important for fertility than "penis in vagina". I say this as a deeply Venusian person.
If you could bottle one type of feeling and use it for spellwork what would it be?
Most of my work is very emotional, and I have never really had a difficult time with evoking them... I do enjoy bottling especially useful elections and utilizing them in my work, however.
What’s your shouldn’t work but it does method?
Impulsive choices made very last minute are a crucial component of my Craft.
What’s the most aesthetic thing over practical you’ve done in your practice?
Probably shrine arrangements, but I'd argue both factors are important and the act of tending to the work is devotional in itself.
If your practice had a warning label, what would it be?
Malefic Collusion - Ingest at Your own Risk
What’s the first magical book you read?

Does no one on tumblr watch youtube?? Why is no one talking about the Bricks and Minifigs scandal???? A stuntman/provocateur just exposed a $200,000 scam involving lego bricks, which resulted in an entire police department demonstrating that they will do anything in their power to protect members the Mormon church, up to and including swatting and injuring innocent people with the sole purpose of scaring them away from investigating Mormons.
