I know I said I was going to record myself building this but I got nervous so... Here it is.
The plane is a Canadian Avro CF-105 Arrow and it was the fastest and most high tech jet of 1950′s.
I’d put the typical markings on it but water transfers suck.
MIG-27 Complete!
Well she's done, I know its not a great kit of the subject but I have enjoyed the build a lot. It went together without me wishing I hadn' bothered starting it so whilst it may not be the most accurate kit around, with the exception of the intakes it was certainly hassle free, which is more than can be said for many kits out there!
Thanks to those that followed along with the build and I hope you like the end result!
Mig-21MF, 1/72 scale mastercraft.
German Mig-21MF in post reunification markings. This is an older build of mine. Maybe 3 or 4 years old now. I found the images and decided to put them up on here.
1/144 scale Revell
Mig-29A
The kit is supposed to be in the markings of 'The Swifts' from 234th Proskurowsky Guards Regiment of the Russian Airforce. However this is a kit I've built before and keeps being given to me as a present or a freebie. So I decided to invent a paint scheme based on others I've seen various Russian aircraft have over the years. And this is the results. Black and White Mig-29 Fulcrum.
Academy 1/72 MiG-27 Flogger D
Well my Spitfires decals were settling so I was stuck for something to do so I decided I would make a start on one of the builds I would like to do for the From Russia with Love GB over on the Britmodeller forums.
This ones just going to be a quick out the box effort on Academys 1/72 MiG-27. I know the kits got its issues, I beleive the nose is wrong for a D and the cockpit detail is almost none existant but I'm just looking for a quick build again at the moment and not get bogged down with corrections and detailing etc on this whilst I'm waiting on parts for a couple of other builds I want to get done for this and another gb so onwards.
Vampire Etch
Whilst I am waiting on another coat of Mr Surfacer curing on the MiG-27 I thought I would crack on with the cockpit on the Vampire build. I am not expecting too many issues here as the kit is MPM plastic and the etch is MPM too, so here we are making a start.
