I've been rewatching pokemon (can you tell?) I love Gary in the beauty and the beach episode. He barely gets any screen time ofc but it's sooo good. I've talked about his whole um. Compelling stage presence. But what comes after that !!!

Ash is so pissed he's about to punch Gary in the face, but Gary basically rage baits him into not. Ash will do anything if Gary tells him he can't and Gary FULLY knows it. He's just absolutely revelling in it, so proud of himself look at his stupid face

Gary goes "what are you gonna do now Ash? Freak out?" But look at that expression. There's literally no doubt there. He knows exactly what Ash is going to do, and it's not freaking out lmao. Battle of the Badge isn't when Ash proved himself to Gary, he never had to.

Gary doesn't try to put people down because he actually thinks they're beneath him, he does all that to get a reaction. He's wants people to give him a challenge !!!

Pokemon!

Experiment on Gary's eyes. Wanted it to be teal so its a mix of blue and green as a reference to his name being Blue or Green in the mainline games.

I wanted to make it look like aurora borealis so Gary's eyes are night time coded.

I want it to look creepy when it glows in the dark.
