- A parent child relationship thats so strained it's worthy of its own Dr. Phil episode.

I hate the defect i was born with that prevents me from transforming, for obvious reasons but also for “niche” reasons. Even if i wanted to, i cant prove to people im not human. I can not go out every once in a while and get it out of my system. I cant be myself in the privacy of the trees or behind 4 walls. I occasionally get small “symptoms”, even with the birth defect, but whats an aching jaw and leg pain going to prove to the species that will try to justify anything and everything to make sure it fits into their idea of reality and biology?

I mean this doesnt bother me often, im not all too keen on being open about this to anyone IRL, but its still a thought that bugs me occasionally.

{{I can't relate to your exact situation, but I understand the frustration.

My kind are visually similar to humans, it's a hunting tactic that evolved over a few centuries of being a collective of stealth predators.

Due to that fact, unless you take a look at my DNA sequencing or catch me in the rare moment my facade breaks, there's no tangible way to prove I'm not just like 'everyone else'.

But, at the end of the day, what helps me is looking at the bigger picture and taking into account the human tendency to deflect in the face of uncertainty, it's a fear response if anything, and while people can be rude as hell about it, non human individuals exist whether they like it or not.}}

{{I know I've been hesitating on posting my whole ass memoir over my species and clown of a father but the fact of the matter is the world is going to shit and I've been preoccupied.

So I'm opting to to bite size, fun fact based posts in lieu of that for the time being. So here's the fun fact of the day-

I broke up with my now ex girlfriend around three years ago now, we decided to remain friends, but it was an incredibly messy ordeal.

After moving out and letting the dust settle, I found out that, in response to the situation. My father had took it upon himself to haunt my ex girlfriends bathroom, specifically, for a period of around six months in retaliation.

Because if you haven't received a text at three in the morning from your ex asking "Why is your father in my bathroom?", you haven't experienced the fullness of being a child of the Bogeyman, apparently.}}
