This post is basically just a big ramble with art involved, so get fuckin’ ready
So, we can gather from the lyrics and visuals of the FOREVER music video that Cyn has Tessa’s undead consciousness trapped in some weird Solver-limbo, right? Well, I think the reason she would have done this is because in her own sick way, she admires Tessa, and that’s also why she dressed up as her (besides a means to blend in and get the main gang to trust her). But. What if in the brief time Cyn and Doll teamed up (When she was disguised), Cyn took a liking to her and saw her as “fun”? What if, when Cyn killed Doll, she put her in the same limbo and she and Tessa met? And then they gay?? Of course, at first, Doll would not trust Tessa at all. She’d likely think she was the same person who killed her, and/or think she was just another one of the Solver’s tricks. But over time, partially because they both have literally no one else to talk to, Doll would warm up and start liking her. Tessa finally has someone to talk to after years of being alone, and Doll finally has someone she can trust fully!! I’ve been thinking about this ship a LOT lately, but haven’t posted any of my art of them because I felt I couldn’t without the explanation. Then I realized I could just have the explanation with the art.
AND THEN, if you wanted to get all happily-ever-after reunion-with-the-main-cast with it, you could have it be so Uzi’s Cyn-tail has a connection to them since she trapped them there, and then have Uzi use that to bring them back in unused worker bodies. I think it would be J’s idea. As in, she tells Uzi “I think there’s a way we can bring Tessa—the *real* Tessa—back, and the key is with you.” Then when Uzi looks into it she’s like “Holy shit Doll is in here too” and they adjust the plan to work with that. I’m not entirely sure what the actual process of bringing them back would be, but I have a visual in my brain of Uzi’s tail hooked up with cables to two shut off worker drones. Doll would be very awkward coming back because she refused any help and it got her killed, and that doesn’t exactly do wonders for your image. Plus, Tessa might not even know what a disassembly drone is, so they’d have to explain that whole deal.
I am planning on writing fanfiction(s) that go over all of these concepts and events, and hopefully that goes well. I also need a name for this AU, that is, if this hasn’t been done before without me realizing.
