Your recent broody pink comics gave me some funny ideas because like if red or purple go into brood mode and everyone is freaking out and pink just casually grabs a bag of chips and a water bottle and leaves them close byish and tells everybody to leave and they all just go wtf is happening and Pink is just like oh their broody and everyone especially whoever is not brooding are like what...? And pinks just like how do you not know this it's basic imp biology and everyone else is just ALL WERE TAUGHT ABOUT IMPS IS THAT THEIR VIOLENT AND ANGRY OF COURSE WE DON'T KNOW THIS and pink sits everyone down for a talk

I love imagining that every eridian welcome committee comic takes place in the same universe and that grace just never said anything about it.

He doesn’t call them out on it cause that might mean that they will actually research phrases more and second guess themselves a lot. And that would mean the cards would stop. Which would be a shame.

But like this he gets a fun little puzzle every week or so where he tries to guess what the committee is trying to say this time. He can rate the cards on funniness and clarity!

I’d like to think that he explains what a lot of them sound like towards the end of his life after having received thousands of cards filled with innuendos and catcalling. The committee doesn’t emotionally recover for the rest of their lives.

Rocky dumbing down his speech for Grace only reinforces the idea that Grace is a kid in the other Eridians eyes and multiple conversations are happening at once..

Eridian scientist: why did they send a baby to space?!

Rocky: Grace is not a baby. He’s a fully grown human and you all need to respect that-

At the same time another Eridian: the human is thirty!! Are you COMPLETELY sure he’s not a child? He’s barely coordinated!

Rocky: he doesn’t have the vocal cords for most of our sounds!! And we were WORKING on him being able to understand proper speech but he’s delirious?! The fact he’s conscious is a miracle-

Grace who is visible stressed and half covering his ears but also trying to listen: what’s going on?? I can’t hear you guys it’s too loud- Rocky what’s going on?!

Rocky: apology apology other Eridians ask dumb dumb dumb questions, Rocky tell Grace later. Grace sleep now Rocky handle.

Grace just nods with bleary eyes and knocks out almost immediately, and the other Eridians are giving Rocky the equivalent of a raised eyebrow in unison.

ok so for context on the DUMB we have a dedicated queen spam thread and we had this bit where we started writing covers of songs where we made the lyrics about queen because fucking Awesome . someone made one for ruler of everything by tally hall. and then @quicksilversnails actually went and made a queencover of ruler of everything, appropriately titled "hooer of everything" and it's maybe the only thing ever made
