i think the way the fandom portrayed pip in the early days (and kind of in modern day) is kind eerie? fandom does what it does best and does the whole yaoi schtick where they make him super duper feminine paired with damien which i mean idc about that in fanart tbh; where i care about the forced femininity is in fanfic tbh. like a lot of early day pip fanfic is really like gross and weird.

in my memory as someone who read a lot of dip or just pip centered fanfic in my earlier ages a lot of it really hammered the forced feminization or was just..for lack of better words just torture p*rn? censoring that cuz idk what tumblr does to that word but like yeah man.

lot of fanfic had damien be abusive or the main guys be really weird or pip just being prayed on??? like its really weird 😭😭 even some aus get pip as a character wrong, tbf im not big into the au spaces and never reaallyy have been but of all the few ive seen hellpark and fogtown are pretty accurate to him all things considered (tho i was in the fogtown discord and never actually read it so idrk what all he was posted abt)
