In episode 1 Lestat is playing Hit the lights which is supposed to be the Gabi song and then he texts her, but I think because the song can also be read as for Nicki, I see his texts also as him speaking to Nicki, wishing he was still there, and then immediately after this he has his breakdown on stage

I have a galaxy brain theory that TAZ: Royale is taking place in the Balance plane of thought The balance arc introduced magic to Earth, and episode 29 of Royale has confirmed the world is Earth and the enemy is an AI. The intro music is a remix of Crystal Kingdom, which I don’t think is just informing us about the emphasis on crystal spells this season. I think it’s meant to foreshadow what this world is. Additionally one of the last recorded live shows for TAZ: Balance was one about Elon Musk trying to switch places with another plane, so either all of these ideas have just been an inspiration for this season, or this is an exploration of the Balance planar system.

Who we are:

My name is Wren. I am a 30-year-old trans man who recently (with help from friends, family, and community) was able to escape the anti-trans policy and sentiment in Florida with my partner, Alex. I work as a full-time lead of learning and career development at my corporate job, and I am also the Editor-in-Chief of Transfix Magazine - a community-based indie publication that serves as a development ground for editorial skills within the trans/gender-expansive community.

Alex is a Puerto Rican trans man who works at a market and is also an artist. He is a huge believer in the power of art to bring together communities and create change. Inspired by artists like Haring and Basquiat, Alex incorporates his love of street art and community-building into colorful freestyle multimedia pieces that blend themes of love, community, and struggle.

What’s going on:

Over the past year, we have been able to live more safely and start putting down roots between NJ and NYC. We love being surrounded by our community and our queer history here! We have been staying with a friend and the plan was to save up enough to get into our own spot by the end of this July; however, my partner had a severe work injury that put him out of work for about 6 months, limiting us to a single income and paltry worker’s comp checks. I was fortunate enough to get a promotion (and a raise!) last month, but my partner had to have another emergency surgery to remove his appendix, which limited us to a single income for the second time.

At the end of the day, you can plan everything to a T, and life will throw a wrench right in the middle of those plans.

Between losing paychecks, transportation costs between the hospital and work, and mounting hospital bills, our savings have been completely depleted. Now, we have leads on a couple of affordable apartments, but we desperately need some help paying our move-in costs.
