So you know how sometimes ships look kinda similar?
Like subtle differences but pretty much the same?
WELL fandom ships are seem to mostly follow the same format
Proof?
Here we see exhibit A:
Stucky is a ship that includes many of the pivotal archetypes of a successful paring- Steve Rogers is a blond, slightly shorty man that is extremely courageous and bullheaded in his willingness to fight for what’s right. On the left we see Bucky Barnes, the strategic mind, always trying to look after and calm the other. While we see Steve usually dressing more formal- Bucky is usually more casually dressed.
Exhibit B:
Here we have a classic ship- it sets all standards. John Watson is a former war doctor, who is plagued by his past and is very forward and strong willed, he is ALSO blond and slightly shorter. On the right we have Sherlock Holmes, a tall brunette, that is a acedemic type, slightly rude but usually it’s unintentional.
Exhibit C:
This. This is the beautiful ship. It features Dean Winchester, the headstrong strawberry blonde warrior, he is always trying to sacrifice himself for those he loves, and usually doesn’t think things through. On the right we have Cass, the angel, he may not understand social niceties or pop culture references but he is always hyper intelligent and extremely caring
Exhibit D:
Hannibal and Will. Forever will be murder husbands in my heart. In this ship we see a shift of roles. Will, the brunette, is a empath in the truest sense. He is overly empathetic and uses that gift to help solve crime. He just want a cabin in the wood and all of his adopted dogs. Hannibal is a cannibal who is in awe of will. Always dressed up in high class apperal.
