A Subtle Thievery of Demons beta readers wanted!
AKA "if a demon-summoning Catholic girl's school yuri novel sounds good then boy do I have good news."
THE PITCH
Kenning Panganiban is trying her best. She really is. When she was a kid she was trouble, yes, got arrested, nearly killed someone, but she's better now! A rich dad she never met is paying for her to go to a private school, she's working two-jobs, she's trying to keep up her grades, and she's trying to not disappoint her mom again. Yes, she's tired, yes, the college is Christian and she's not, yes, the headaches are constant, but if she can keep her head down, not be noticed, then she might just be able to get by. Except for Elise D'Aboutage.
Elise is, literally, the worst. A rich church girl with a grudge, for literally no reason. And, one day, when the bullying gets too much, and a strange grimoire ends up in her possession, Kenning slips up, is bad one last time. It should be nothing but instead Kenning, out of luck, summons the brattiest demon the world has ever known and, even worse for her headache, is stuck with A Subtle Thievery of Demons until Elise's life is ruined and the rich girl expelled. But if she gets through this without snapping she'll be good again. She promises.
WHAT IS IT
An 89,000 words romantasy story of trans and cis dykes and demons trying and mostly failing to communicate and deal with their emotions. That I am looking for readers to give feedback on, and help improve. In other words, I hope you'll beta read this, let me know what you like or don't like, and help me make it better!
