How big the hourglass, How deep the sand - After the Apocalypse, they hope to share their plans about the future with one another. Preferentially a future together. Until Aziraphale is taken and so is my heart what the fuck is this fic.

The Next Place - Crowley’s dead. What happens when demons die? Besides leaving a heartbroken angel behind, of course. Aziraphale’s in pain.

Heavenly Host - Aziraphale is given a female body. TW for rape, unwanted pregnancy and body dysphoria. It’s a dark fic, but has beautiful moments. I don’t know if I call that a happy ending.

A Memory of Eden - I’ve been honestly TRAUMATIZED by this fic. I ugly cried at least FOUR times. WHAT THE HELL WHY WOULD YOU EVEN- It’s a fandom perfect pearl anyway and probably my favorite Ineffable Husbands fic ever. It’s just so, so, so SAD. Aziraphale falls to human. That’s all I’m gonna say.

12 Days - THIS IS BEAUTIFUL AND I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS FIC ALMOST EVERYDAY SINCE I READ IT. College professor Ezra Fell is in vacation at France. He sits at the beach and buys sweets from Anthony - and Anthony is a charming, flirty French boy. Every day is written in a different chapter.

Human After All - They’re made human teenagers by Adam at the end of the book. They’re pulled to one another, but neither can remember why. Really sweet teen romance with a dose of supernatural.

Ordinary People - Ezra Fell’s bookshop needs some paint work and Tony comes with high recommendations. It’s an adorable and very well written getting-together history. Mildly touches on religious and internalized homophobia (they’re both Jewish in this).

Anthophilia - Someone is opening a bookshop across the street from Crowley’s flowershop. Oh no, it’s that guy he kissed once in college. And Aziraphale has the NERVE to not even remember him!! It’s funny, sweet and has Anathema in it.

Mutual Aid -  Ezra is a social democrat running a progressive bookshop with a history of taking in homeless queer people. Crowley is an anarchist black bloc. It’s the lefty AU romance I didn’t know I needed.

The Rose Thief and the Priest - Crowley believes he just found a rare flower in a Church backyard, but the passive-aggressive priest won’t let him take a sample.

Potter Omens - Yeah, it’s a Harry Potter AU. And it’s really sweet. The fic follows their relationship through their Hogwarts years and a bit beyond.

Inconsequential But Important™ Things About Book Crowley And Aziraphale That Didn’t Make It Into The Show

-At one point, Crowley eats a slice of angel cake (and Aziraphale takes some)

-Aziraphale, all the time, calls Crowley ‘my dear’

-Crowley’s favourite show is Golden Girls

-Aziraphale’s shop is on such valuable property that mafia members sometimes come and threaten to burn down the place if he doesn’t sell it. They always go away. They never come back.

-Crowley has a Soul Music selection. With “real Soul music”, so without any James Brown. He keeps that collection in alphabetical order.

-Aziraphale hates actually selling his books and goes out of his way to avoid having to do it. He owns, by the way, a large Oscar Wilde first edition collection.

-Crowley loves sleeping. At one point he slept through an entire century

-Aziraphale’s tax reports are so accurate the authorities thought he was forging them/hiding something

-Crowley got a recommendation for the Spanish Inquisition after hanging out in Spanish cantinas at that time (instead of sending a memo, claiming it as his idea). After checking it out, he got drunk for a week.

-Aziraphale was known for helping with public proofreading and translations for book printers - one time he most likely used an opportunity to write himself into one “infamous” bible; the passage is the basis for the show’s scene of God asking Aziraphale about his sword

-Crowley made Manchester

-Aziraphale thinks dolphins are fish instead of mammals.
