Seeding the end of babygate
Disclaimer: this is my speculation.
So I have spoken about this before, but now I have a bit more evidence to back up my thoughts, so here you go.
I’ve been saying, as others have, for a while that since babygate began as PR, it will end as PR. It’s an incredible opportunity for Louis and his label to garner some free publicity for a new album, and they’d be dumb not to use it in that way.
I have also said that I think that when they begin to end babygate that they would do it SLOWLY and they would play up the stunt a bit in the press:
So if we are following this theory, we could see them play up the baby daddy stuff up in the media for a while, then start to introduce some doubts, then drop the bomb of *not the father*. Keep in mind this could all go on for months.
A bu from her [Eleanor] wouldn’t attract that much attention bc she’s a nobody, so idk what their plans are. I could see it happening sooner rather than later, so that they can use a narrative like “after splitting from long-term girlfriend this past December, Louis decided to spend more time with his son. And that’s when he found out he isn’t the father! wow what a shock!”. So again we could see him publicly spending time with F to play out the big *not the father scandal*. And when I say ‘publicly spend time w F’ I don’t mean that he’d necessarily do all those pap walks, bc now F would be like “who tf are you?”, so they may just have a couple pictures here and there, and some statements in print for the tabloids like “a source close to the singer said he has spent the last two weeks with son Freddie”. All bs narrative stuff.
Only, I didn’t realize they have already been doing it - I just didn’t notice. They’ve been playing up this stunt in the press for OVER A YEAR.
Of course things became more obvious when CelebTM came into the picture, with their babygate and boobgate articles. However, even before then, the tabloids had been bringing attention to both Briana and Freddie, with increasing frequency.
TMZ hadn’t mentioned Briana since 2016. And then, out of nowhere, in 2020 they start talking about her again:
And the Daily Mail has mentioned Briana and Freddie throughout the years. However, you can see a clear increase in the quantity of articles about her/Freddie in 2020:

It’s very clear they are bringing this stunt to the forefront more and more. All of those articles either talk some nonsense nothing about irrelevant Briana or mention just *how much Freddie and Louis look alike*. I think they’re doing this deliberately and with intent. It helps them build the narrative that
of course Louis thought it was his kid, they looked like twins
of course he didn’t think to get a paternity test, would you? When the kid is practically your mini me?
And they have years of articles with pictures to back it up.
Also the increase in articles also means they are constantly reminding the public about his son and B. Often times her name is in the headline.
This, coupled with the narrative CelebTM has been quietly building for the past few months leads to a narrative that can look somewhat like this:
Louis never suspected anything bc they looked so alike. He never took a paternity test bc “he thought she was a good person and trusted her”, and then as F continued to grow up and look like him he didn’t suspect anything. How could he? But then he began to notice how she was always involved with so many new guys who were around his son. He realized she had scammed another guy and has essentially been shown to be someone untrustworthy. So he got suspicious. Then on his son’s 5th birthday Briana shares a sonogram from a fertility clinic. And that’s it for Louis. He decides this is too suspect to ignore and decides to go forward and take a paternity test. Maybe he gets lawyers involved bc Briana is being difficult, so it takes a few months. He finally gets results - F is not his. So he goes on to get lawyers involved to end whatever custody or legal paternity he has to F since he’s not his. This can take several months. He announces his new album will be coming in the next few months. After the paternity thing has been mostly resolved, they tell the press. A scandal ensues. PR all around and all eyes on him and his new album.
If it goes down like this it would also explain why TMZ removed the article from their Twitter. They can say it was at the request of Louis and his team as he begins to look into the matter and wants privacy to sort it all out bts.
Ok, this is my speculation and things can play out differently or not at all. But I think it is clear they have been increasing the frequency of the stunt in the media, and that is definitely something we should pay attention to.
