HOW TO PUT STROKES/OUTLINES ON YOUR GIFS THE EASY WAY
note — this is often harder to do on larger gifs as it can cause photopea to crash. compressing it on ezgif, choosing a smaller gif, or adding the stroke to ur gif in a seperate project than the rest of the graphic and adding it in afterwards can help this.
Hie guys! In celebration of 100 followers, I decided to do a silly event themed around the idea of comfort zones, since this blog has pushed me out of mine since I started it! (pos)
Anyone can participate, since I think it's important for people to try to get out of their comfort zone every so often. Sorry for no cool post graphics I've been so pressed for time recently.
Rules, prompts, and prizes under the cut !
RULES
The event will start on Wednesday 29th January, and will end the following Wednesday. There are only 4 pairs of prompts, but the extra time is for people to join late / if they miss a day (I am still SO thankful that I had extra time during the first event I did bc I got ill).
Any kinds of edits are allowed: moodboards, PSDs, graphics, layouts, buttons, anything you'd like! Because the theme of this event is comfort zones, I encourage you to experiment with something you haven't tried before!
Tag your submissions with #foxlorist100 , and tag me in your post to make sure I see it. If you have any questions, feel free to send an ask in my inbox, or DM me !
PROMPTS
You may choose either of the prompts from this list, though I encourage you to pick the prompt that pushes you out of your comfort zone the most. I tried to make each pair of prompts with one being safer, and the other pushing a little further out, but either is fine. You may also do both prompts for the same day, and I will give small prizes to those who do
1) Edit a character you would love to switch places with

PRIZES
I am not great at prizes, so it's VERY likely that I will only start them after Feb 14th (the deadline date for a massive project I have in college). People who complete all the days of prompts will be entered into raffle, and I will draw the winners from a wheel. Only 2 place prizes because I don't really have much to offer, sorry.

How do you make your edits/layout? Been wanting to try editing like this for ages but I’m never really sure where to start
Hi! Some resources i use and tutorials i made can be found in my faq tag. Im gonna put stuff under the cut bc it can get kind of lengthy and im not good at explaining things. Im thinking abt making a speed editing video at some point to better show it
Apps i use
Background eraser is to make transparents/renders, picsart for overlays and masks, photopea for gifs and coloring, and ibis paint x to edit pics together
Making graphics is like layering a bunch of stuff ontop of eachother like this. its hard to explain it bc i dont have any sort of method i just mash stuff together until it makes my brain tingle.
Canvas sizes i use -
Rentry graphics; 1000px by 736px
Icons; 1440px by 1440px
Tumblr headers; 1040px by 585px
