never would you have expected your relationship with jisung to be leaked. it wasnât even obvious at all. no couple items to make it clear enough that you were dating, no public dates and no clips of you two in any way possible. you were shocked, being called into the conference room already made you feel paranoid, your face was out for the public to see, you snapped out ofnit when you heard your name being called. your body reacting faster than your brain. you looked up, your eyes wide and the hairs at the back of your neck standing up.
"yes⊠?" you replied in a shaky tone, shifting your position when your eyes met with jisungâs across the table, what was he thinking, you thought.
"this is really serious you know. everyone is attacking both of you. we need to keep his career clean, you are currently the reason for the damage." the staff member said, it seemed like he felt bad for you, would it count as pity? you thought, not like you wanted pity from anyone in this room.
"weâll have to fire you." was the last sentence you could register before documents were put infront of you. you nodded calmly, not having any more hope for anything pretty much. as you were about to sign the papers, two chairs scraped off the floor, everyone looked up, jisung and his manager are heading our. you could tell this would be the last time youâd see him, bowing to the both of them before they were out of the conference room. it felt like your heart fell down this whole building. your hands trembled as you signed the papers, standing up and leaving the room without uttering a word. you felt sad and embarrassed, was that all you meant to jisung or what? all these years and months, just for him to toss you away like trash. you bit back tears, rushing out of the back door of the huge building to avoid photographers.
as you sat in your car, you looked at jisungâs contact number before deciding to block him for good.
after being the main producer for uknowâs latest album, the members of tvxq have been showing you lots of support, happily signing most of your merchandise. as a lucky fan girl you thought you could only dream of attending changminâs wedding but here you were.
sitting down with seulgi and irene you tought nothing would go wrong, well you shouldâve taken notice after johnny, taeyong and doyoung cane to greet you, you shouldâve noticed when seulgi and johnny engaged in a conversation. you leaned back on the chair, looking up as another group of people approached your table, this time the one leading it was mark, your gut sank deep, just behind him was jisung next to jeno. you gulped down, bowing to them politely and sitting back down, quickly turning away.
"irene, why didnât you tell that he was going to be here, this will be so awkward now." you whined. irene just rolled her eyes, waving her hand up and down in a careless manner.
"just avoid him. he probably feels way more awkward than you do." she said in a monotone voice, but she was set on it. you shrugged your shoulders, you knew you couldnât fight against irene, a small giggle escaping you which made her raise her eyebrow.
"fine, iâll go out for fresh air real quick." you said grabbing you purse and fixing your skirt, she nodded as you walked off.
"jisung stop staring itâs rude." jeno huffed next to the youngers ear, poking at his side.
jisung gave him a small glare pushing his hand away, "iâm not staring." even he himself knew he was lying, but what else could he say. he sighed out, a small pout forming on his lips as his cheeks puffed out lightly.
"you look so funny. but youâre pissing me off, go follow her and apologise after one whole year. immature ass." jeno commanded, patting jisung on the neck, a small smack following.
"no hyung are you crazy?!" "go." and with that jisung was out of the wedding hall, heading to the huge balcony outside.
the balcony was huge, decorated with beautiful flowers and furniture probably for later when everyone will be outside. there you were leaning against the railing, phone in hand and your thumb nail between your teeth.
jisung mustered up the courage to approach you, his confidence faltering with each step. he gulped down, taking one last deep breath before fully standing behind you. he tapped your shoulder lightly, you almost couldnât feel it, it was that light, but it was familiar enough for you to turn around, you hair flowing beautifully as you did.
your eyes met, and your heart skipped a beat. you pushed your phone into the pocket of your blazer, awkwardly taking a step aback.
"heyâŠ" jisung said, his voice shaky and unsure. he scratched the back of his neck. he could already feel the small red spot from jenoâs smack a few minutes before.
your eyebrow raised, but your demeanour faded. you couldnât always stay mad at him right, you thought. "oh.. jisung?" you said awkwardly not knowing what else to say.
"i came to apologise. i knew what a asshole i was for walking away, i really regret it. i wish i wouldâve said something to protect you but i was afraid and immature. iâm really sorry, i really am. you donât have to accept my apology, i just felt like a burden carrying this guilt on me without knowing how you have been and if youâve been struggling." he went off rambling like he always did when he was a nervous wreck.
you just stood there, waiting till he finished. your eyes flowing over his face, settling on his eyes that sparkled with tears that dared to drip down his face. you caressed his arm in a soothing manner to get him to calm down, it was obvious that he was feeling guilty and felt sorry.
"itâs fine. i forgive you, donât apologise, and of course donât cry." you said hugging him. he slowly leaned his head against your shoulder, you felt a tear drip down his cheek. your hands went up and down his back, small hiccups leaving his chest. you pulled away, looking him in the eye, smiling softly.
"i love you⊠" he whispered, your thumb wiping away the access tears. he slowly leaned in capturing your lips into his own. a peck was enough to prove both of you, you pulled away chuckling.
"letâs not cry." you said laughing, you fixed his hair as he laughed along.
"youâre right, we arenât babies anymore i guess." he said jokingly, fixing his suit.
"mark would disagree with that." you said before you walked back into the wedding hall hand in hand.
