A scene that I keep rewatching is this one, with benedict and sophie's talking in the green house, and the way benedict comes out to her, it's so beautiful and tender and scary too, because even though he's a noble and right now he fell for a fantastic girl who is a maid, and society status is trash and all, sophie is still a woman, what would've happened if he'd fallen for a man? He rambles about society norms and how that shouldn't dictate people's lives and whom to love, emphasis on whom, and saying he cares for sophie the same way he cared for the women and men he'd been with and even stating he does not feel ashamed, you can see in his face he's nervous and scared as fuck, he's sharing his biggest secret to the woman he loves and if she doesn't love him back after it? Or if she rejects him and feels disgusted?

But then...

Look at that face, the relief, the happiness, the heart wracking love he feels, I'm gonna live in this moment forever🤧
