hello i have a small announcement, but i will be archiving (sort of) this blog. lucifer will be moved to my multimuse which you can find here. i will still keep this blog if i ever decide that i want his muse to be on a single blog. see you there or otherwise farewell ❤

okay,  but honestly if someone would give him a.c. he would get is island to five star rating in mere days.

sandalphon / sparewinged‌

he does not notice the other - not for now at least. red eyes focus on the work at hand. sweetening the coffee for lyria, adding some silly swirl to the captain’s… all those little things that had become a routine to him. he continues his singing until he turns around, seeing a certain white haired head in the corner.

“… how long have you been standing there?” or rather, how much did he heard? he can only hope to everything and everyone with higher powers that lucifer had not heard him sing that song.

    ‘ only a few minutes, ’ he replies, blinking a few times.  ‘ was i not supposed to listen? ’  he has been standing there not too long after sandalphon started singing. in fact, it is what drew him out in the first place. lucifer offers an apologetic smile, ‘ i apologize if i was not meant to hear that, i just enjoy hearing you sing, it has been a long while since you have done so. ’

from what he can tell, the entire crew has left the ship for some sort of celebration. to have a few moments to just himself in silence, he cannot help but have a somewhat rare and softer expression on his face… and as he starts making coffee, he finds himself singing. it’s not like anyone would hear him, right?

except there is someone who can overhear as he stumbles upon this rare scene. it is because of that rarity that lucifer enjoys discovering moments like these. it’s a blessing to continue discovering little things about the other; but it is the same rarity that stops lucifer from making his presence known. he does not have the heart to interrupt sandalphon especially when he appears to be enjoying himself so.

QUESTION did it hurt when you fell from heaven?

ANSWER yes. my wings decayed.  i clutched at star systems to slow the fall  and the burns still smoulder, faint shadows of feathers seared  into bleeding skin. this is pain? i don’t like it. i want to go back. this aching… this is aching? why are my hands shaking?

The girl still frowned despite the comfort, having been left in her tracks as her friends walked ahead, somehow paying no heed to her original effort of messing with a goldfish catching game. It seems that something else caught their attention. She turns to the angel, yukata sleeves fluttering from the motion.

“ I-I wanna try again. But… ”

To anyone else, it would seem that she’d be conversing with thin air. She hesitates, looking in the direction her friends had wandered off to. Instead, Saya wanted to return home after this humiliation.

“ … I don’t think th-they wanted to w-wait… ”

there is not much the archangel can offer her for he cannot be physically there but that does not stop him from trying.  ‘ it’s regrettable that they have wandered off,  ’  a pause,  ‘ however you should not let that get to you ’ landing on the ground he leans forward ever so slightly.  ‘ if you wish to play again then go ahead i’ll be waiting for you, ’ not like he could go anywhere but that was beyond the point. 

he kneels down near the fishing game and gazes at her, urging her to give it another go.  ‘ try again, i’m certain you’ll get it this time. ’

     ❝Not recently, no.❞ She’s unsure if she should be grateful for that fact or not. ❝Might I ask why you’re attempting to track her down?❞

     ‘  ages ago when the seal on pandemonium weakened a few angels used the opportunity to escape their imprisonment. ’  he explains to her.  ‘  while we recaptured some, a few still roam freely. though as of late an attempt to open the gates has been made. we believe it’s related to the recent attack in zinkenstill.  have you noticed anything out of the ordinary in your domain as of late? ’

“are you happy?” there is a certain temptation in adding ‘here with me’ but in the end he cannot find it in himself to mumble those words. “are you happy here on the grancypher.”

happy. now that is a word he hasn’t used often.  ‘ it’s different from what i am used to, ’ once he was an observer now he finds himself being a participant.  ‘ this life has not given me much to complain about. ’ is he happy? as long as he is with sandalphon he would say so.

   – Ah. Makoto’s snapped back to reality, meeting the Supreme Primarch’s gaze. What was he even thinking about? Those words again: I’ll be waiting at Estalucia. The melancholy had been written on his face. Even if Makoto did not say it, Lucifer had his answer.

   “ I… I was just thinking that the sky was really beautiful today. It’s clear as can be. “

     ‘ the sky ? ’  he questions. somehow he feels like that isn’t the case but he won’t pry any further. everyone is entitled to their own secrets after all.  ‘ ah, it was indeed a beautiful day. ’ the surpreme primarch turns around to gaze up at the sky.  ‘ the skies have been restless for a while but it has settled once again. ’ leaving them with a beautiful sunset.  ‘ i do not think i could ever grow tired of it.  ’

         “I ain’ hallucinatin’, am I? If Claude pu’ somethin’ in my food, I’ma kick his ass.” {/Granted, she knew her best friend. He would have made it obvious he did it by now if he did. Yet…this hallucination was extremely sentient.} “So…wha’s yer name, Stranger? An’ how come I’m only now seein’ ya?”

     ‘  that does not appear to be the case here. ’  if he recalls correctly that name belongs to the house leader of the golden deer; a scheming man. but no, it was not his interference that caused it of that much he is certain.  ‘  i do not have an answer to that ... this is all very new to me as well. ’ he would need to look into it further to figure out why this stranger can see him.  ‘  but to answer your other question --- my name is lucifer. ’ should he mention that he’s a deity? perhaps, but considering their current situation he best wait with that a bit longer.

        “It’s… It’s Cardia, sir. And you are? I apologize, I do not believe we’ve met before.”

     ‘  that is correct this is our first encounter. ’  and hopefully not the last. her existence is quite intriguing really no doubt he would agree with him.  ‘  my name is lucifer. ’  he says before adding,  ‘  though i must apologize for approaching you like i did, that was quite rude of me. ’  in fact her appearance surprised the supreme primarch.

…that probably means he won’t move for a while now. not that it exactly bothers him ( turning around though to hug lucifer would be somewhat nicer ). “…can I ask you something?”

with a slight tilt of his head his lips part,  ‘  of course. ’ from this angle he cannot see sandalphon’s face, let alone read his expression.  ‘  what’s on your mind ? ’
