I like your artstyle because you can really see the influence of other artists! I can see elements of Lanceys art, like the shading, coloring the inside lines, and the overall style, along with taking heavy inspiration from Ruby and even other artists like Razzy and Wugalex! Keep improving, i hope you find your style soon! <3

this is why i hate being inthe dave and bambi fandom because my art is automatically referred to as “heavily inspired” by the popular artists there. yes, the shading is inspired by Lancey, but the coloring inner lines is something i did even from some of my first artwork, and just stopped for a while. as far as the overall style of it, no, it wasnt inspired. i draw in the way thats easiest for me and when i found my artstyle at first, it was sort of influenced by Lancey but as time went on i made it my own. your sarcasm makes me want to cut off your arms and put you in a washing machine so please find something better to do than harass a 15 year old girl because her art looks similar to the people you fangirl over art-wise

Are the animals sugarfoxes are based on required to be in the sort of family of felines/canines/similar furry creatures? For example, would a rabbit or a bear count or are they too different?

the gist of it is that sugarfoxes are a species that mainly have fox/wolf features (but can also have features of other species like a raccoon tail for slipper) and the main species gimmick is that the designs (and optionally personality) are based off some kind of dessert or candy. ill elaborate more later but yeah
