Current Venezuelan Bolivar (BsF.) To US Dollar Exchange ($)
This is what the so called âsocialismâ has done to Venezuela, a hyperinflation in the country. $1USD = BsF. 4609.37 . In a country were almost everything is imported, this accounts for the major reason there is a crisis. The exchange rate has been growing astronomically for the past few days. Keep in mind that the minimum wage is about BsF. 27,091.Â
Taking a look at current trends in vending machines and how vending machines are adapting and may adapt in the future. With changing circumstances come new business opportunities.
Healthy Eating vs. Vending Machines Industry
Due to the high obesity rates in the USA and campaigns to create awareness towards this. Consumers have become more conscious about what they eat, and what they feed their children. The government has decided to impose rules and guidelines to the machines that are in public schools. Vendors now have to follow these nutritional guidelines and ask for a product to be approved before they can place it in the machine. This is a great initiative for the kids health, but it definitely affects vendors. Kids don't realize that this products are better for them, they just want their regular candy, so the vendors are the one to take the hit when sales drop dramatically after making the change from regular products to healthy ones.

How To Edit a Business LetterThis informative video gives great advice in how to properly format a business letter. Some of the most notable highlights of the video are:* When writing the address, spell it out completely. (Write drive instead of Dr.)* Keep the font simple. Avoid flashy fonts.* In the salutation capitalize each letter and end it with a colon.* In the body, the paragraphs should be single spaced with no indentation.* At the end allow enough room to sign the letter by hand.* Always draft and revise before sending a letter.I would like to point out that I donât see the need for the dumb animation at the beginning of the video, and also think that the video could have used way better editing, but oh well, thatâs just some of my thoughts.

Formatting a Resume
This is a great video that gives great tips on the dos and donts of resume formatting. Even tough the guest (Brandon Stapper) seems a little bit dull on the video; he gives great insight on how interviewers go trough resumes. Some of his tips are: * To have a formal contact information. (No emails with nicknames) * Consistency in employment (It's not necessary to post every single job if it might make you look unstable) * Keep your resume simple and neat. Donât cluster it. Maybe use a bit of color to stand out, but don't over do it. * Taylor your resume to the position that you want. Adjust it to the needs of the employer to increase your chances in securing an interview.
Another tip that is not in the video but it's worth mentioning, always make sure to keep your social media clean, as prospective employers might look trough it and that can heavily affect your chances of securing an interview.

Think before you tweet!
The sad story of Justine Saccoâs social media fiasco teaches us a valuable lesson about social media. Â We have to be extra careful about what we put out on the internet. Â We are our âbrand,â and we wouldnât want to hurt our âbrand imageâ due to a silly comment.

Why I Chose Study International Business
Since I was little, Iâve always been fascinated by business. Â I would watch documentaries about prominent companies, how the founders started their business and how these companies fill a need. Â I remember thinking, thatâs what I want to do someday. I donât mean I necessary want to own my own business, but business is something that I want to do for a living. I love the excitement that I get from closing a deal or making a sale.
Iâve also always been interested in people, and cultures. Â So thatâs why I specifically chose the international business field. Â I also believe that due to globalization, to study just business administration would be obsolete. Â We live in a globalized world, and companies are keeping up with that, so it made more sense to educate myself towards that.

TED Talk Subtitles and Transcript: What makes work satisfying? Apart from a paycheck, there are intangible values that, Barry Schwartz suggests, our current way of thinking about work simply ignores. It's time to stop thinking of workers as cogs on a wheel.
Great video that explains why we as human work every day. Based on John Adams theory about us humans being lazy and by consequence needing a reward for us to get something done.  This is how our factory system (industrial revolution) was created, and this is the only system that we have right now.  But even though I agree with most of Adams theory, I would also like to point out, that even though yes we do need to have incentives if we want something done, I also think that these incentives donât all have to be monetary.  You can have a love incentive, a happiness incentive, a health incentive, etc.  Itâs not always about money it can also be about feelings.  Barry Schwartz at the end of his speech said as you go back home to run your organizations. Just what kind of human nature do you want to help design? And my answer is leaders! Not just soulless workers, but people with vision that can create a better world.
