I’ve been on tumblr for so long now. I’ve seen the rise and fall. It witnessed tumblrcon the “tumblrfamous” and things like that.

It was annoying at times but still alright. There are always people who are kinda dumb everywhere be it on the internet or in real life. But you could always decide for yourself pretty well what kind of content you consume. If you didn’t like something that a person posts? Just unfollow. And you are likely not to see this kind of content again. It is still like that.

Now after there have been a lot of people who left the site it got a lot better too for some reason? It’s like a lot of people that made tumblr have this bad reputation moved on to other platforms *cough*twitter*cough* I may have not been super active on here but I still scrolled the site from time to time. And have been more active on my art account. There are several things that have greatly improved as well. The broken tagging system is now not broken. It works pretty well in my opinion. And even if you do not have a huge following you will still get noticed.

Overall I think It’s pretty chill on here and I prefer it to other websites.

idk how ppl find twitter ‘more bearable’ than tumblr. i log onto tumblr and i see posts from the same handful of ppl i’ve come to expect, displayed in chronological order. then i log onto twitter and it’s like “here’s a seemingly random collection of posts arranged in order of how angry we think they’ll make u! also, every celebrity and major world leader is on here trying to earn their master’s degree from Clown University”
