listen I had my… issues with “the vampire lestat” and idk if I really wanna read any more of the books, but that reunion scene with louis? not one of them, it was just ridiculously soft. two pretty dumbass immortals grinning goofily and staring into each other’s eyes??? then they hug real tight and go for a little wander with their arms around each other as they chat??? louis even made some fuckin jOKES LIKE?????? let’s just pretend the series ends there, huh, before lestat has a chance to be a giant dickhead again. 

yeah I know louis should have short hair and lestat should be wearing a coat buuuuuuuut idc. also I can’t remember if they were actually next to the pool or if that was just a fic I read but it was fun doing the lighting for it so again, idc.
