Of course, it might take me a short while to get the ingredients but I’ll try my hardest to get it ready.

[He smiles.]

You seem excited, Jojo.

Ah, that's perfectly fine! I can wait as long as it takes...

[He lets out a bit of a chuckle, shifting his gaze down bashfully. He'd been caught red-handed, so it seems.]

Well... I haven't been human in a long time. I-It's rather exciting.

Vampire friendly potions? Hmm, let me see.

[Taking the book from him, he flicks through the pages and at the end he closes into the vampire section. His eyes flick over the words, and at finding the obvious his face lights up.]

Hey, here’s one that you would enjoy. And luckily enough I have the right ingredients for it.

”Temporary vampire to human potion. Effect wears out after four days." … Sound interesting?

You--you can really make a potion like that...?! Oh, my goodness... that sounds absolutely interesting!

[He can barely contain his excitement; though it's temporary, it's certainly been a long time since he's felt warmth in his veins. If there's anything that could return such a feeling to him, he would take it without hesitation.]

Ah... please, I would like that one, if you would.

Any sort of potion that tickles your fancy, really.

[Nudging his fingers across his book, he slides it towards Jonathan.]

Please, take a pick.

Oh, hm... I'm not all that well-rounded with potions...

[He scans his eyes over the book, unsure of which one he should pick.]

I am not entirely certain how well I'd be able to hold it down, now that I think about it... ah, do you have any vampire-friendly potion recipes?

Jojo, darling. Would you like a potion of some sort?

A potion? Goodness, I don't think I'll be able to turn that down... what sort of potions are you making?

[Leaning down, he worms his hands around Jonathan’s sides and hoists him upward and as if he was handling a puppy as he falls with a thump against the floor with Jonathan still held comfortably in his grip.]

[With how this looks it easily appears that he’s going to eat him, but is that his true intention? No. He drags him closer and gives him a big ol’ snake snoot on the nose.]

As you should be. I am your guardian after all, aren’t I?

[For a split moment the bubbling warmth disappears from his face and his usual laugh is nothing but a dried, miserable sounding croak but he forces himself to feel better again by dragging him forward again for more snoots.]

Well, yes, of course.

[By now, he doesn't argue about being lifted up and held like some kind of animal--it has its perks, after all. Such as the snoots that he receives, which he does his best to return--despite being very human.]

[He takes note of that croak he makes--and scoots up a little closer, eyebrows raised in concern. He gives a bit of a snoot before speaking up.]

Is everything all right?

Indeed. I wouldn’t be pampering you like this if neither of us enjoyed such touches.

[As if he was petting an animal, his braiding becomes a constant stroke along the curvature of his skull and experimenting with the way he is - he reaches downward to gently brush his knuckles against his chin.]

Plus. You deserve it, when we first met you were covered with dried blood and you were petrified with fear. Like a lost kitten, I couldn’t help to take you in and be your caregiver.

It’s the least I could do.

Well, yes, of course... I'm glad you enjoy it, though I...

[He quiets down, listening to his reasoning--feeling the blood in his body concentrating around his cheeks as he hears why. Nudging up into his hand, he lifts his chin.]

Y-You really think so...? I was in rather poor shape when I met you... I'm very lucky I met you, to be entirely honest. I do not know where I would be, if he found me again.

I feel very safe with you.

No problem, when you’re hungry feel free to tell me because I’ll be able to warm the blood over heated rocks since from experience I know that the freshest blood is the most tastiest.

[Oh. Oh. He loves that odd gurgling sound and he quietly replies with a chorus of tiny reptile squeaks as his fingers continue to braid and play with the dried bones of his hair.]

Maybe I just gain much amusement from pampering you, dear.

I definitely will! I think I am all right for now, but I'll definitely keep that in mind. For the moment, I think I'll stay here with you.

[His "purring" increases at the sound of his reptilian chirps, along with how he continues to braid through his hair. He's honestly never felt this pampered in a long time--he thinks he likes it.]

Amusement, you say?

It’s definitely strange, but it’s a welcome change if that’s what you’re after.

[And as if he wasn’t snug enough, he tightens his coils by an inch as he continues to observe him with his claws doing delicate touches through his hair.]

Also, Jojo. I went out earlier today and got you a good amount of human blood for you to drink up. But no worries, the carcasses were not wasted as I ate them after I drained them of their blood.

[Smiles.]

... oh, well... I am glad it isn't too strange for your liking.

[He can't help himself--leaning up into his hand, he lets out an odd vampiric purr, sounding more like an odd gurgling than anything else. He perks up at the mention of blood--and, oddly enough, doesn't seem all that disturbed about what he did to the bodies after draining them.]

A-Ah, thank you very much! I really appreciate that--you are far too kind, really...

And so they are.

[Glancing down at him, he curiously tilts his head.]

I don’t think I’ll ever understand why you like resting in them so much, Jojo. Needless to say, it isn’t a problem with me.

[He can't help but settle down a little more comfortably against him, looking a little bashful.]

Well, it... it may seem rather silly, but for so long, I've had to sleep on the floor or in various piles of filth. This... this is much more comforting.

I hope that isn't strange.

Ah, I did. Your coils are incredibly comfortable, to be quite honest...

[Maybe it’s because of his afterglow, but hes more than inclined to nuzzle him raw with all the dazed affection he can give and long enough - because of his scent, he’s quickly awoken from his nap.]

… Mmhhn.

[He's getting all sorts of affection and he has no idea how to handle it. He feels happy--unbelievably so. But he hasn't been this happy in years, leaving him a mix of excited and confused.]

...!!

[Unable to contain himself, he starts nuzzling back tenfold!]

[He’s grabbing him in his sleep and pulling his body down into the depths that are his coils.]

[ｎｏｅｓｃａｐｅ．]

Oh, he's asleep... I shouldn't bother h--

[He's pulled down into his coils before he can stop it. Oh, my. He doesn't want to wake him up, but he also doesn't want an angry, sleepy naga.]

[Well. Looks like he's not going anywhere.]

[That last statement seems to stir the thickness of the broth as the fine edge of his lip curls up to reveal the swelling of his jaw that is lined with pincers that press back against the surface.]

Reptile flue. A terrible, terrible flu. Specifically reptiles.

[Returning to his original posture, he grumbles and leans into the fingers thumbing into his skull but he seems mildly agitated by this. Clearly, he wants more touches and he isn’t getting them.]

[And why is he wearing clothes? He clearly isn’t human and this temple doesn’t allow human clothes. Disgusting.]

[Leaning forward, he intrudes on his territory and prizes his lips apart with the ‘timid’ use of his talon and as he stares into the drool covered teeth before eventually pulling back with his eyebrows raised.]

Are you that of human kin, Jonathan?

Oh, dear. That sounds awful--is there anything I could do--?

[Seeing that look on his face spurs him on to raise his other hand to pet at the other side of his head--he wasn't sure if this was helping, but anything to help him feel better would be worth it, wouldn't it? After all, he's been so kind to him thus far...]

[However, his personal space is very quickly being invaded, letting him pry his lips open and trying his hardest not to drool too much--even though that's a difficult task in and of itself. Thankfully, he pulls away. He wipes at his face while he mulls over his question.]

Well, I was born human... but I was forcibly changed into a vampire. Or, ah... zombie? Maybe both? But I was human, until I...

It's a bit difficult for me to talk about, unfortunately.

[Even if he does feel - strangely - full of fever and his cheeks are even a stranger, pale shade of blue that glistens like diamond across stale milk he slowly lifts himself up and glides his fingers across his hands with much care.]

[He’s dexterous and careful of his scarring as his tips brush against the fissures in his cracked skin and soon enough the soothing touches turns into a gentle grip and tug as he hoists an arm around his waist and - for good testing digs his opposite claws into his rear for a brief moment before pulling him into the warm mass of coils.]

[Now in his grip and smothered by his coils, he begins to groom his cheek with the edging of his tongue as an appreciative gesture as animalistic noises come from the back of his throat and with the way he’s doing it, it feels as if he’s actually on auto pilot.]

Dear me… I must be c-coming down with the sickness.

Normally, I wouldn't really think much of it, but... it's been a long time since I've touched warm skin--or, at least, scales...

[He trails off when a warm claw begins tracing along his knuckles. The gentle touch is almost unnerving--not in a bad way, of course. He's just so dreadfully unused to being touched like this. Letting out a bit of a surprised yelp, he calms himself and settles into his coils, rather enjoying how warm they felt--even if it meant that he was sick.]

[And--oh. Licks. To his face. He can't help but bring his hand up to pet along his temple, hoping that would at least soothe some of his pain--if he really was sick.]

Is there a special sickness that only strikes nagas...?

[He sticks his long yellow tongue out of the mass and hisses occasionally. Strangely enough, his musk seems to be… Stronger than usual and he’s radiating heat from his body which is a strange sight for a cold blooded reptile like himself.]

Fine.

[Ohh my, he can smell that musk. He takes a risk and ventures forward, cautiously settling a hand on his tail--eyebrows raising at just how warm he felt. This... this wasn't normal, was it?]
